Enter the city of Balzar, where the things of shadows live.
Where the hopeless lay waiting, with nothing else to give.

Enter the city of Balzar, and come face to face with fear.
Be prepared to give up, all that you hold dear.

Yay! I get to review first!

Alright, art-wise you are doing most well. I like your linework and you coloring is good. I don't know if you're going for a more comedic approach but it comes off that way. (At least in the beginning)

There isn't enough pages for me to really comment much on the characters. They seem alright though, not doing anything too horribly unforgivable. Reim has a fun personality.

As for speach bubbles, I likes Reim's a lot. Silance's need a bit more work as they come out more MSPaint-inserted-looking.

You do do a good job on backgrounds, though. I don't know much about layout, but the pages were not extremely difficult to read so that's probably a good thing.

Story sounds interesting to say the least and I am quite curious to see how it unfolds. (In a less related manner I liked the poem-style introduction you gave for your comic. Real snazzy.)

I shall have to drop back in later when you have more pages, but so far so good! ^___^

Yep, I'm going for a ceartain humour/action combo. Hoping to acheive this through the characters without sacrificing my story.

I hope you will continue to enjoy the characters as they grow. There are many more to come later.
Im glad you like the backrounds! They where the things I had most trouble with.
I have an idea how to fix Silances speech bubbles. I'll see how it looks, and if it is successful I might have them in the next pages.
Also glad you like my intro! XD

Art's okay. There's room for improvement, but nothing you probably don't already know about. Keep doing this, and you'll get better.

Yep the very reason I'm making a webcomic is so I get practice and get better. I really need to add way more detail to my backrounds and my characters need to just be pushed that little bit further to get my desired style.

As for the coloring, a lot of your textures look awfully "computery." You also seem to have the palette of an EGA computer game. More colors, fewer filters/effects and computer "brushstrokes."

I've stopped using alot fo the filters now. Well compared to what I was using when made the cover. I'm trying to lose that 'computery' look. It really started to bug me on the last page I did. I do colour entirely on the computer though using Phtoshop Elements. So I have to try find the correct techniques for eliminating that look. I have some ideas that I will start to use. It's going to make colouring a longer process but I'm more than willing to sacrafice the time for the improvement of my art.

Forgo the notes to the readers. They disrupt the flow of your comic and break the fourth wall. If something needs to be explained, there should be an organic time for it.

I can't promise I'll forgo ALL notes...but I know I should refrain from them till I get myself established. It IS one of the first rules. I should have just put in the 'it will take an hour for his nano's to rebuild' line like I was gonna. I can't remember why i didn't....

Keep up the good work, though; as I said, it will only get better with practice.

Well thank you. And I hope you will pop by every so often to comment on any progress I may or may not make.
