It's back after a two year disappearance! (not intentional... DD died. SHHH! Don't anger it.) Anyway, starting with the third act of the latest storyline (the "pilot" episode, if you will.), we are mirroring the 30th century sci-fi epic right here for your enjoyment!

But seriously: Starship Moonhawk: The Webcomic, follows the "second age" of the Moonhawk saga. For 5 years, Rear Admiral Gilliad Cobalt has led the mighty battleship, the USS Moonhawk, in a struggle best summed up in the series tagline. "In the distant future, one ship stands between order and chaos." Now his journey as Master and Commander is coming to an end and a new generation is stepping up to take on the mantle as defenders of the galaxy! Set in the high-tech world of the 30th century, we have everything: exotic aliens, cool technology and a Buck Rogers-esque swashbuckling adventure story.

Did I mention that I can be quite verbose? Well, lucky for you, the action is not watered down with a ton of monologuing. I think it speaks for itself.

Quick update: Folks, we've also started "Pinup Sundays". There will be some kind of cheesecake/beefcake (yeah, the dudes get the treatment eventually, too!) on Sundays. So be sure to tune in.

I thought the pictures were good, but I can't seem to follow the plot. I think this is later in the series right. Would like to read the beginning when you get it working

Yeah. I hear that a lot. "The Mercadian Affair" is the first comic story, so the 68 pages currently up are it for now. I think things will make more sense after the second "episode" when the characters have been established a little more. The webcomic itself is based on a series of novels I am in the process of re-writing. But as I said: eventually, not having read them will be moot as I plan to do some referential material in the comic that will straighten things out.

Either that, or I may do some kind of "Prologue" chapter at some point. Sooner rather than later.
