Well, new for me anyways...

Retake - What happens when a movie star goes from portraying a hero on the silverscreen to becoming one in real-life? Nothing good...

do you just want a critique on this picture? as far as proportions, or do you mean character designs?
the face is a little too angular for my personal tastes, and the eyes are almost vertical, I think you should reposition them, and put them higher on the face, too. You forgot ears. I think the eyebrows are a bit much, and would match them to the hair tone.
I like the shadows on the hair and the face, very dramatic lighting.
the hole in the forehead is... interesting!! ^_^
and I like the bold lines. go you!

BRILLIANT! When you asked me how I make my stuff, I honest was a tad bit concerned about your drawing skills. But you've certainly proven yourself to be both a talented artist and a good photoshopper! Bravo!

Thanks...I was trying to go for a downwards tilt, but with him looking straight ahead. From the way his hair would be show, his ears are actually covered up.

As for the angles and all that, Photoshop kinda messed with the proportions...forgot to have them restrained, or whatever it is that keeps them original wehn scaling down. Anyway, thanks again!

Rich

Thanks, Rich! For the comments AND the help! I just need away to make my art stand out since my scanner's none too good.

The image is broke. You may need to re-link it.

And your work WILL stand out with that style. That's what the white outline does. It adds a buffer space so that there is ALWAYS maximum contrast between the character and the background.
