While this comic has been on this site for a few months now, I just now realized that there is a crit section, something I love to take advantage of, so here goes...
Basically, Kloteck Omen takes place in an isolated area of 1920s Sweden, and focuses on it's main canine characters and their struggle to maintain their way of life among a power-hungry pack of wolves. And while I just read that and realize it makes this comic sound like a war/blood/fight comic, I'd like to say that it will be much more than that, with a few smaller plots woven into the main, focus on changing environment, character, and motive rather than wolves killing each other to see who can gain more territory.

Of course, there are past pages, but I linked to the most recent one due to the fact that I have been improving the style and backgrounds of this comic since it's first page, so I pretty much know the flaws in past pages. Critique for a few pages back is welcomed of course, but I'm mainly focusing on the most recent.
(Also, I'm not sure if two scratches count as NSFW, so just in case, I'm going ahead and mentioning that.)

Wow! What fantastic artwork and elaborate story! Unusual to see such superior artwork here. Your Disney-style makes the characters seems to move on the page. Great coloring too, I like the differences between the characters and the more painterly backgrounds. Great character design too- each wolf looks distinct from the others. The story was so in depth that I had to really struggle to figure out what was goingon. How long do you plan to make this?

Be that good or bad? (I have a tendancy to be a bit "abstract" in my pages, so I hope I haven't made it too confusing.)

I'm not really sure...I'm hoping to make it somewhat long (spanning over a few years to complete), as there is a lot that needs to be gone through in order to complete the story.
Thanks a ton for your input, MrColinP:)!

Well, I was a little lost. And when I say a little, I do in fact mean a little. I think that this is a case where if I had the comic in my hands and could easily turn back pages, it would be a benefit. And while your comic is certainly of impeccable quality, big sprawling dramatic epics are not my drink of choice. I've never been a fan of Lord of the Rings or War and Peace or any of that type of stuff, so I may have just not cared to pay the close attention required by your story. But there are a lot of people out there who love that stuff, so go get them man. Something that's broad enough to please everyone all the time is probably garbage. And I also have a tremendous amount of respect for the amount of work and planning it must take you. For my comic, as you may have seen, I take none!
ALSO: I don't think it has to do with the "abstract"ness of your pages, you appear to be a very clear storyteller. And also, your specific and clear character design goes a long way to help the reader keep things straight.

Come on, if you can handle a Disney movie (back when they were good), you can handle the storyline to this. At least, that's what I thought. That's not meant to be derogatory in any way, the comic is fantastic, something really unique I think. It's rare that you see art of such quality and a quirky story. The fact that it's all based around wolves is fantastic. The only real crit I might have is the colours. At the moment they're a bit dull, with characters tending to blend into the background a little. I looked back at page 1 and think it's really fantastic in terms of colour. I understand it's a dark part in the story but maybe a little excitement? Lightning and suchlike?
Anyway, even if you continue as is I wouldn't complain. It's one of the best comics here on DD. Keep it up, you're going to go places.

Kloteck Omen is realy amazing. The emotion on the characters' faces are said without words, but then so is everything in this comic. It's very well done.

Page 10 is up, and I changed the text since people were saying that the Papyrus was hard to read, so if anyone has any critiques for this new one, I would really appreciate it!

*ahem* I know this is an older topic but, I hope ya don't mind my crits.
Characters - The characters, as mentioned before, are professional quality. Each one distinct and easily distinquished from the other. The style is very animation style (which I love) and overall very clean.
Artwork/Paneling - Very simple and basic layouts are easy follow. (Not like some manga style comics) The painting background is again very animation style. Each panel looks well planned. AS mentioned the Papyrus font is annoying to read, the current font type is slightly easier to read. Although for a story like this I can see why you would not want to go into a typical comic lettering font.
Storytelling - Visually, very rich and detailed. The monologue going on right now is perfectly fine for setting up the main story. The story itself is still in the introductory/expository stages. It's good to see that you are carefully setting up all the story details so the reader does not have to guess or just rushing into 'the fun parts'.
Story - I'm curious to see where the story goes. It's all set up to be an interesting tale that I hope goes beyond the generic Wolf Clan stories. (i.e. a Tribal war). I can see a lot more internal politics and possible problems with humans. It may be slow paced at first, but most novels/longer stories are. (And you've had some action scenes in there already so I don't think there will be complaints about it being boring).
I'll be keeping an eye on this.
