My webcomic is called Crackwalker and it's about a guy named Jeff Walker so thinks that the universe is crumbling away into nothingness. His days have become intensely ritualized, in his attempts to stop himself from slipping into alternate dimensions... or maybe he's just crazy.

It's sort of indy and auto-biographical, but not really. It is a magnum opus of mine that I've been working on since I was a teenager. I don't know if it will ever be finished. I have an ending in mind, but it's a long road to get there. It's just a thing I am compelled to work on, so I do. I work on it in evenings and on weekends, and sometimes I'm too tired to work on it, but I do anyways - so the artwork is uneven. Some days it's better than others. Take it for what it is. Crits are welcome.

I started this comic in 2002 on Tripod, then I discovered Keenspace, which became ComicGenesis. Then I got busy with a new job and stuff, and Crackwalker took a hiatus for a couple of years. I've been making notes and refining the story a bit since then, and I've started working on new material for it.

The CG site has been dormant for a while, and I wasn't happy with some of the things I did with the format over there. It was a learning experience for me. I've changed the way I'm presenting the work - rather than single panels, I'm composing full pages now. Anyways when I discovered DD I decided to start over with a clean slate. In recomposing, I've taken some of the old panels and enlarged them, and there's some distortion, but I've used that as part of the storytelling. The story is about the universe falling apart, and the images sometimes should look distressed anyways - sometimes with the way they're drawn, sometimes because the pixels get all big. Anyways, it's on purpose.

For the next few months, Crackwalker will be updating on DrunkDuck every Tuesday. These updates will be with pages that are re-composed from the old artwork. Once all the old material has come out (chapters 1-4), the new work will start to appear (chapters 5-20'ish?).
