A comic following the life of a AWOL alien. Obviously a humor comic but it's not just random strips. I've got the general story written down from beginning to end (which I won't get into here). It's been running since November 27th, with five whole pages (Not including the extras). Amazing rite?

Anyways, you can read it here if you're interested:

Unfortunately my tablet is screwed right the hell up (But what can I expect for $60?), so I only have the pen tool to work with. And while that's not such a terrible thing, I can't get the nice wooshy pen pressure varying lines thing going (The "Simulate Pressure" function on the pen tool just doesn't cut it), so I'm sorry that the line art isn't as pretty as it could be. But I can guarantee it'll be a weird, and hopefully funny and interesting story. It's been well received so far, but of course people are very generous with their comments/ratings on Drunk Duck. So maybe here I can get some honest responses.

You comic is great! Brainless humor can be great, but when there's an actual story involved, it's so much more interesting (I refer you to The Tick). Great art and design. "Yo." made me laugh, and the profanity was so unexpected that it was a laugh in itself. I can't wait to see where this goes.

Honest criticism (because you asked for it, brace yourself): I've heard the "I'm not going to stop casually calling you an absurd girl's name" joke before. The tv show Scrubs, and The Tick (again) have both done this at least. I feel bad saying this as you've already established it as a running gag in your strip, but it's how it looked to me. Also, #6 was a bit confusing dialogue-wise, because both characters have the same color word balloons and you lose the pointers in that dark background.

Still friends? I hope so. Because I'd love it if you hit me back. I dig your comic and would value your opinion.
