Well, there are only two pages, making making judgement a little difficult. Looks like it may be a good concept, though it's hard to tell much. I think being more subtle with CG would work better if you're working in pencil. Using transparent layers for a soft, watercolour effect and stuff would work with the soft pencil lines and look really nice.
