This is probably my pick for the best sprite comic on Drunk Duck. The fact that it went on hiatus as soon as I found it was sad, but now that it's back, iz happy. And don't let the sprites throw you off, it's a fantastic comic with a great archive.
The sprites are chosen with a purpose, the writing is well-developed, the plot is coherent (though the switching between narrator and story is sometimes confusing, once you get the jist of the sprites being used, it's quite understandable), and the humor is humorous. There are copious amounts of special effects, and the anti-climactic boss battles are very amusing. It's a great deal like 8-Bit Theater in execution, the main difference being the page layout. (This comparison is solidified with Josh's occasional 8BT tribute strip.) The humor does a lot of parodying Mega Man, but there is an equal amount of social commentary, playing to stereotypes, and clashing personalities. In fact, I never knew anything about the plot or canon of Mega Man until I started reading this comic. So, not only are the parodies funny, but they are, in a way, self-explanitory. Real good stuff.
I will say that I'm not totally impressed with the first offering of this sophomoric effort, but I hope the cursing will subside and give way to the clever and parody-ridden writing that I read the comic for.

I thank you for the crit Greg. :) The page I have just posted is but a mere warm-up. Just to get the juices flowing. It's kinda hard for me to get back into a continuity writing-wise.
