I was bored one day and I found this Japanese Yu Yu Hakusho game. It looks very interesting so I thought I'd share this with everyone. It seems to have a very basic fighting system one finishing move and one special attack. Well enjoy.

That's the most active announcer I've ever heard. It's even better because I don't speak Jpnese so I can't tell if she ever repeats anything.

I am honestly not too sure if the announcer repeats the samething but personaly I think it was nice feature to the game.

Oh and I also found this other fight aswell.

This game has an adequate system, except for some glaring lacks:

- No grappling system whatsoever.
- No air combos.
- The fact that nobody even falls down unless knocked out makes a fight pretty boring.

You probably didn't see the Chapter Black saga in Yu Yu Hakusho.

The characters all have multiple finishing moves and specials, not sure where you're getting only one. Most characters have three specials (all done with the circle button by itself or pressing forward or back) and two emotion attacks (done by pressing down and circle or double tapping down and circle). Some moves change after transformation.

The systems seems interesting, but could really use an easy return to ring move. Having the announcer is a cute touch, as well as the occasional standout in the crowd (like Keiko cheering for Yuusuke in the Toguro fight or the girls cheering for Shishiwakamaru). The game does seem a little DBZ-ish, although I guess the series did kind of go in that direction during/after the Sensui fight. I'd still like to see Treasure make another game based on the franchise, possibly for the DS, that uses the old megadrive system, adds two more players, characters from the makai tournament, and ups the speed.

I am officialy addicted to this game despite the fact I havent played it yet.

Theres some sega and snes games that are so/so. There was one on gameboy advance that I'd thought about checking out, but I never got too far into the Yu Yu cartoon. I think I saw most of the first or second seasons. Up when he got the spirt wave, I think. Maybe it was the spirit shotgun. I don't know what it was, but I remember he teamed up with former bad guys to fight other bad guys. I liked it.

Personally, I think Yu Yu Hakusho would make a great turn based RPG. It has plenty of magic-ey super powered people to be in your party. It wouldn't be to hard to make up a storyline that happened sometime after the show. (I never saw the end though, so tell me if everyone died or something). Hell, it's even flexible enough to just have a completely different set of paranormal psychic guys who're in the same universe but not necessarily connected to the show.

Yeah, that would be pretty awesome.

I think Yu Yu H could make a pretty good RPG too, it certainly be fun. Hiei being cocky and Yusuke flipping the bad guys off. But it'll never happen. YYH is WAY too past it's prime.

At the end of YYH, Shepnue, Yusuke basically has unlocked his full demon potential and kicks ass and Kuwabara wasn't in the final saga because he was finishing highschool. Koenma does mention that Kuwabara is the strongest HUMAN alive, but even at this point Yusuke overshadows him like Goku overshadows Krillin. And still, Hiei and Kurama aren't even worth looking at(and I love Hiei) because Yusuke gets more or less "Goku-ized". Oh and Enki declares no demons are allowed to make trouble in the human world.

Are you talking about the anime? Because at the end of the anime, Hiei and Kurama are on equal levels with Yusuke.

In fact, Yusuke was at a point when he "finally" got to a level on par with serious-Hiei and serious-Kurama, but he was still considered a greenhorn even though he's finally reached the same plateau as the others.

You're right. I've been reading the manga, just got finished with the Sensui arc and got the endings mixed up. My bad. Good thing you're always there to iron out the wrinkles mlai.

I just checked Wikipedia. The last arc is the "Three Kings Saga" in which Yusuke's ancestor Raizen (one of the three demon king guys) trains Yusuke, then dies because apparently he wasn't eating enough humans. Then Yusuke, as his succesor, decides to hold a tournament to decide the ruler of the Demon World. The other Demon Kings agree to it, and then they have the tournament, and some guy named Enki wins, therefore becoming ruler of Demon World.

Yusuke was ridiculously powerful during this arc, though he ended up losing in the tournament to one of the Demon Kings (he kicked everyone else's ass).

Also, this was in the anime, and not just the manga. I also checked that.

I know it was, but i nthe manga I've only read to Sensui's part. And I just read it recently.

I do expect to lose to Isukun but somebody has to do it.

I never read the manga, but from the anime you get the impression that Yusuke wasn't the stronger in the final arc. At least not like Goku-level stronger than everyone else. But if I'm wrong I'm wrong.

He certainly wasn't Goku, but he was quickly becoming it. Seign as he could use all ofrms of energy and Raizen WAS the most powerful and Yusuke could probably reach his level he would have been.
