So basically we just post some game concepts.

Example: 1 (Also my first one)

Hell Breaker

genre: Action Rpg

Main character: Zal Kolheim age 16 at the begining 23 during the main story

A lone wandering warrior in search of the demon that slaughtered his village as a child. Zal was brought up in the farming village of Greshal in the contryside. He lived a peaceful life with his mother, father and younger brother. One day while tending to the crops he heard a woman scream. Zal runs to where the shriek came from to find the villagers crowded around a severly disfigured corpse that had washed up in the river. That night Zal's father follows the river to a mysterious cave. Hours later Zal wakes up to find that his father is gone. He leaves his house to look for his father only to find the village has been set ablaze. Zal wakes up his family to begin their escape from the village only to be stopped by his father who begins to attack him. Zal's father had been possesed. Disfigured and demonic he slashes at his family with his blade. Zal is knocked unconcious and thrown into the river and washed down stream. Days later Zal is picked up by a mysterious swordsman. He was brought back to his village to find nothing but chared corpses and ash. His fathers blade remained on the ground. The swordsman picked it up. He explained that his father had been possesed by a demon. Leaving the village he gave Zal his fathers blade and told him to keep it close.

Years later Zal, now a fully grown adult trained by a powerful swordsman embarks on a journey through a vast world now over run and ruled by demonic lords to find out the truth behind what happened all those years ago and to bring down the rule of terror that has been enforced in the land under the cover of a red myst that cloaks it.

Main Villan: Cross

Zal's younger brother

He was taken during the attack of the village and corrupted by the darkness of the red myst.

Objective: Travel through out a vast land and defete the demon lords of the 8 hell gate towers that connect the demon world with the living realm. Collect the shards of light that will recover an ancient weapon that will be the key to destroying the link between the worlds.

Ok.. Ive exhausted my idea to just give an example. Your turn.

Fall Guy

genre: Fighter, Shooter, Racing game

Main character: Jack 'Bolter' Edward Trall, age 27

A big company is involved in illegal waste dumping, one of their rising employees, Jack 'Bolter' Trall, finds out and leaks it to the media. While asleep at his house the police drops in and arrests him.
Blaming him and him alone for the dumping, backed up by information provided by the company he worked at. Jack gets a prison sentence and freaks out, breaks from the courthouse and hits a man with his car while on the run. after being caught again, unconcious, his sentence gets increased and he wakes up several days later in a prison hospital.
The main part of the game Bolter is inside this prison, fighting off others and making a name for himself on the inside, slowly turning into an actual criminal. After some time Jack gets out, eager to get revenge he starts rallyin others he met in prison, people who already were released.

The end of the game will be all of them acting as hitmen, killing the executives of the company one by one.

Main Villan: Alvin Alter Johnson

The director of Alter enterprises, a mayor chemical company, secretly responsible for 65% of america's products.

Objective: Escape, Survive, Kill.

Yeah, that's it. It'd have to have great voice acting to pull it off but you could do a lot with the difernet kinds of criminals that exist.

Alright, so this chick who is a space bounty hunter is after this evil group of space pirates who have this creature who latches on and drains the life of its enemies. Also, all there are a bunch of powerups needed to progress hidden through the nonlinear levels. Don't know what to call it yet, though. :/

The scifi/fantasy hybrid thing is already too much of a cliche. It would be stupid to see Zelda jump on that bandwagon when there are plenty of other things they could do to revive the series.

How about a game where you're assigned to "clean" a world? That is... your job is to extinguish all life on the world using nothing but the natural disasters of that world? Yeah... that means no doom from outer space and such, though stuff like that happening at random (such as alien invasions) would make your job easier. Your job gets harder as the intelligent citizens of the world would band together and create counters to your tactics, or hide in places of the world where they'd think they're safe and forcing you to use combinations of disasters to get at them.

Come to think of it, alien invasions wouldn't make things any easier. Not only will the inhabitants get the tech they need to resist your efforts sooner, but you'd also have to exterminate the aliens from the world!

Theoretically, such game already exists.

The amount of fun I had, loading up one of the prebuild cities and slowly destroy it with my arsenal of natural disaster was quite disturbing.

If I remember right, though, Simcity was more focused on building a city and destroying it was just a fun little bonus you could do. I believe Lonneharts idea is making their destruction a challenge, which would actually be pretty cool.

What makes your job at "clearing a world" a challenge is the fact that the various creatures (especially the intelligent ones) will be resisting your attempts to destroy them. This is made harder by the fact that you can only use the world's natural disasters to do it. You'd have to combine and/or time your disasters correctly in each world region and also know which ones to use in order to truly cleanse the area of all living beings. The beings you're trying to eliminate will find strategies and solutions, or otherwise develop technologies to resist your attempts to force them into extinction. Yep... sometimes destroying something can be more challenging than creating it...
