Wind Waker sure had a great end battle though, didn't it? Quite different from the other Zelda final battles. I wasn't too interested in Ganon's other forms, but when you go sword to sword with Ganondorf at the end it makes everything right.

I did like the bosses in Wind Waker, they were refreshingly different. It was a challenge again to figure out what the hell you do to beat them. :) Some of that is in Majora's Mask too. I did like how you had to race the mechanical guy as a Goron, although it went on a bit long.

A Link to the Past is my favorite, closely followed by Ocarina of Time and the original Legend of Zelda.
Those three have the most epic feel to them in my opinion, which is what it’s all about. Exploration and puzzle solving, with some cool boss fights thrown in the mix.

I'm also doing that other comic "Space Waffles ".

Not for nothing, but I thought Wind Waker deserved a lot more respect than it got at release. I ejoyed it a lot, and the art work, I thought, was pretty neat. The most annoying part was having to treasure hunt for all the triforce peices, to me. I hate treasure hunts. I thought the fighting system was great, and the dungeons were interesting, and the final fight was awesome... And, furthermore, I think it's awesome that the Rito evolved from the Zora.

I have to say I really hate MM's save system. You can't just save after you do something important and go back to the game. I'm leery of the owl statue saves, and last night it proved me right. I'd spent about 3 hours doing some stuff in Great Bay (getting pieces of heart, doing the pirate fortress and pinnacle rock, etc) and I went to save at an owl statue and it told me my memory card was corrupted and couldn't save and then it quit out on me. My old save is still there though. I could just do it again, but I'm not going to trust the save anymore. I haven't got another memory card to copy it onto, either....

Was there a different N64 released or something? I mean, I'm only wondering because I remember Majora's Mask, having played it on the N64, and I do remember hearing about that whole memory card thing, but I never remember buying one or evers using it, but playing MM and saving fine.... am I just not remembering my N64 correctly?

And MM just annoyed me at almost every turn, for all of the reasons already mentioned. Though I did still enjoy it, as my love of Time Travel knows no bounds - I thoought the ocncept was cool, and I liked seeing my actions effect events, though I didn't like doing everything over and over, constantly.

I'm playing the port to GameCube. I've not had any problem saving since then though. The save card might have been loose or something?

In order:

Majora's Mask
The Windwaker
Link to the Past

Edit: Just wanted to clarify that really, really dislike Ocarina of Time. They squandered the time travel aspect. Majora's Mask was just more interesting on so many levels. Plus it was darker and had a more abstract mythology behind it.

My favorite: Ocarina of Time. Link, both as a kid and an adult, was hardcore. He had an arsenal of weapons, next to no support network, and he still kicked everything to hell and back! He rocks!

Windwaker was just a child-friendly work of crap! THEY TURNED HIM INTO A CARTOON! A CARTOON!

I'm going to be really original here and say OoT. Back in it's day, it was leaps and bounds ahead of anything else on the market, and I loved every bit of it. My eleven year old self was hooked on the damn thing since I first heard the intro melody, and It's held a special place in my heart ever since. =)

Ah, wasted childhood it may have been, but I can't think of many better ways to waste it. *wipes away a tear* Ah, nostalgia...

Ocarina of Time and the gameboy advanced one in which he goes through time would have to be my favorites. OoT because of the way the past effected the future, and you got to see Link grow up and such.

I like the ocerina of time beacuse it had a wide area and at night zombies attacked you zombies rock. Also I just want to say I would like to see one where all the Links would get together. I mean like they all just gang up on all the enamies. You know you want to see that. Ganon being mauled by 23 Links at the same time. That would be sweet.

(I have a feeling I've posted in this thread before, but I looked and didn't see anything of mine...weirdness. So I'll go ahead and apologize just in case, sorry)

Majora's Mask!

It's so...creepy and different from all the other Zelda's. I love it. The masks, the moving cinematics, just..weee! OOT is awesome and all but..I dunno, it just gets boring after a while. While MM is always great.

I really loved and still do love The Orcarina of time. I loved the music and I think that the graphics fit that game. Although it would be cool if in the future they made a remake of it for the wii or something.
But anyway I love the Orcarina of time so much that recently I ordered a re-arranged soundtrack from Japan for it. It's really awesome MOKA rules. ^_^

I am torn between OoT and Twilight Princess. Ocarina had the best storyline of its time, and it's not too shabby for this time either. Twilight Princess's storyline was incredible too, and I highly doubt anyone can recreate it.

I'll admit though that I'm leaning towards TP, mostly because I've just finished it, and I haven't played OoT in a while.

Also, Midna has had a profound effect on me.

Damn her adorably devilish personality.

Midna is seriously one of the coolest characters to appear in a Zelda game. Not many characters in Zelda have an actual personality, but she's got all sorts of character.

There's so many good ones, I cannot choose D: Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Minish Cap, Twilight Princess D:

I'll just say they're all my favourites ;D

(If I had to choose or pain of death, I'd say either Ocarina of Time or Twilight Princess)
