Oh, I just thought of a new one. I will never break the fourth wall.

I like some comics that do it, but I just think it's a little cheap. I mean, a comic creates a whole new world and it kind of ruins the illusion that these are real people when they keep talking to the audience.

I won't put:

sex (any kind) or nudity (though sex jokes are ok)
Romance (unless its absolutley needed in a scene)
cliche characters
muscular characters (no marvel styles)
Furry's
Magic (though summoned weapons I will allow)
Excessive swearing (though I will use it occasionally)

other than that, its all good

hmmm i haven't concisously decided to do or dont to do anything, i'm sorta just riding the wave at the mo.

there have been times in the beginning when i was typing a swear word and i told myself, if i do this thats its, its a mature rating .. so i went a head and did it anyway.

i HAVE sorta used some cliches but only to later point a finger and laugh at them later

I will not put in:
1. Curse words. I may put up symbols (#$@$%^!!!) to indicate the person is cursing, if it fits the scene, but I just don't like cursing anymore. I can read it, just like I can hear it on television or movies or the person right next to me at work, it won't kill me -- but I do not prefer to hear them or say them or even think them. That said, however, I don't look down on anyone who uses them; it's just not my cup of tea anymore.

2. Graphic sexual depictions of any kind. I never liked porn and if a situation leads characters to have sex, I'd rather leave it to the reader's imagination that it happening or happened. I'm not too comfortable with overt innuendo, either. If a character is kind of blunt or even sensual in their speaking, as part of their character, that's one thing. But intentionally creating sexual innuendo situations? No.

Everything else is case-by-case for me. B)
