I think we got a really good mix this year from everyone. It certainly makes everything easier that everyone didn't just vote for one comic. The votes were pretty even in numbers for a lot of the categories.
But if I ever have to type the name, "I was kidnapped by lesbian pirates from outer space" that much again, even with ctrl+c, I'm going to have to sit you all down for a good long talk about your voting habits. lol!

I suppose next year I'll have to actually wake up my fanbase for this if I want a nomination for my comic...
I suppose since your looking for judges, I might as well volunteer for the pixel/sprite category, since I think I'd be a good idea to have at least one spriter among the judges (But if you have too many spriters among them... I don't think that would be a good idea either...)

It's awesome to be nominated for stuff, but it's kind of a shame to see some really good comics nominated for nothing while some not so great comics get nominated in their place.

I think I at least should openly thank those who check out my manga and openly nominated it for awards.
Though personally I prefer just to focus on my work, I hardly check out those awards nominations.

Any way, not sure if this would be an issue... but since Mixed bag dropped out of the running for best sprite wouldn't the next runner up now get to be a finallist?
