You know you're obsessed with comics when...
1.) Every goofy thing that happens to you, you remember so you might be able to make a comic about it.
2.)You make sound effects for every thing you hit against.
3.)90 to 100% of your bookshelf is filled with comics
4.)You check your webcomic list everyday for possible updates.
Please come up with some more.

If only I could show my my browser all day long.
You know you're addicted to comics, when more of your top friends on myspace are people you've met drawing comics...
You look forward to midnight to see all the new updates on DrunkDuck.

All your favourite songs are your favourites because they have lyrics which inspired comic events.

Geez, I'm so lame! XD Especially with the part about myspace.
You know you're obsessed with comics when it gets to be that time of year again and you're so excited because you finally get to see your friends again during con season.

You know you're obsessed with comics if you write a gaming strip, and you spend more time on comics than on actual gaming. (Guilty!)
It's a comic!

*when the employees at borders are on a first-name basis with you because you're always at the bookstore reading manga (this is totally true... and kinda sad too.)
*when you go for long, relaxing walks but come back even tenser than before because you just plotted out a kickass action scene where someone in your comic dies!!

You can name ancillary characters and give details of their backstory.
Also anyone who quotes issue numbers knows entirely too much about the comics.

you know your obessed with comics when:
1. everything you see you picture as a comic and not real.
2. You see an object and all of a sudden you see it moving and talking to you.
3. You wish you were (insert super hero here)
4. You yell at people who love comic based movies, but don't know anything about the comic.

You can't remember what day of the week it is till you remember your favorite comic with scheduled update did or did not update that day.
You read a novel and start imagining it in panels.
Your obessed with comic making when you have two finals due in two days and you still made three pages of your comic instead. :P

You've forgotten your roommates names and end up calling them names from your comic. (Of course, you know THEY are obsessed when they answer to those names without hesitation...)
Oh, and when you wander into the graphic novels section of Borders and realize the only issues missing from certain series are the ones you bought.
Along those lines, when those series restock and the volumes start disappearing, you sit around imagining what the person who bought them is like and how you can meet them...

i can tell who drew/wrote it without seeing the credits.
I can too on occasion. I prefer my artwork "sup par" where its good, and you can tell who the characters are. I do like artists that put their own stamps on stuff. Like Steve Dillon for example. I love seeing his same face on everything, for example when I opened Wolverine Origins, I had no idea he drew it. Soon as I saw a picture of Wolverine on page 1, I knew he drew it.
Don't believe me? Look at some steve dillon art.

- You have a comic-specific wish list on Amazon - better still, your wishlist contains only comics, organised into separate lists according to genre...
- You watch films taking in the direction of establishing shots and talking sequences so you can apply it to your own comic work.
- You hear a song and it reminds you of a comic character.
- You browse clothing sites not for yourself, but for clothes you think your character might wear...

You buy nothing else but comics and have an entire wall of graphic novels plus another few shelves full of them in other places.
Oh, and have about 5 draws full of binders full of old comic pages.
And you've self-published your own comic book which no one will really read, but it's still cool to have it in print.
And that's the TRUTH.
