Yes, we all receive pleasure from video games but what happens when they completely halt at part 2 or 3 or on no account make a sequel at all? Which games do you wish developers/publishers would create a sequel for?

---

Personally, I would already like to witness Viewtiful Joe 3.The first 2 were exceptionally addicting and difficult which ultimately made the occurrence very fulfilling.

Shenmue 3.

And where, exactly, would the story go? The ending seemed pretty final to me. Sure, there was that ambiguous "riding off into the celestial plane" thing, but I wouldn't want the entire game to place in the land of the gods. Also, Ammy already has all the Celestial Brush techniques. What, are there going to suddenly be 20 more or something?

No, a sequel for Okami has too much potential to suck. I think I'll just stick to replaying the original over and over again. (never gets old)

Well, maybe something could happen in the "celestial plane" and Ammy would have to save that. And who knows? Maybe there would be new Celestial Brush techniques.

Don't be so negative.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors

Ghoul Patrol was the sequel to it, but it was horrible. Ten steps backwards from Zombies.

The recent Monster Madness game that was billed as spiritual successor was terrible.

I'd also like Resident Evil 5 and GTA IV, today. But I can wait.

Since Square's so intent on bleeding FF7 dry, I'd like them to make a game based entirely around Red XIII. One that doesn't suck.

Also, what if Blizzard made a sequel to StarCraft that centered on Stealth gameplay and allowed you to control a Ghost? Man, that would be awesome.

Lol StarCraft: Ghost reference

Yes. Red XIII was my second favorite character, after Vincent.

Also, I would like for them to remake Dirge of Cerberus except put in more of the good parts and less of the bad parts.

I don't think that'll ever happen because whatever they do they can't top Okami.
God I gotta find that game.

What, because it involves a quadripedal protagonist it automatically has to be compared to Okami?

Because it is one of the most kick-ass games ever made!

You have to play it to understand. Non-players of the game are incapable of comprehending its awesomeness.

As long as they take the time to really nail the motion-sensing parts, this will be awesome. I just hope they don't half-ass it, because when you do that on the Wii, it really shows.

I don't see why. The Wii version can't have that much better graphics than the original, and using the Wiimote for the paintbrush probably won't be any better than however the original game works.

Trying to remake old games to work for the Wii doesn't make sense. The only way a game will work for the Wii is if it's designed from the ground up to go with it.

This is one of my main concerns about Wii games. Developers, instead of taking the time to actually make a game work with the Wii, simply tack on some motion detection and say "lol innovative". It doesn't work.

Case in Point: Resident Evil 4. Oh wait, that was awesome on the Wii. Granted waggling the wii remote to stab isn't perfect, but hey, you still have the option to just use a button. Sorry, but sometimes, the ability to just point your gun really helps, instead of navigating crosshairs across the screen. Now, I'm not going to say that every game is going to be better on the Wii, but to say that a game not designed specifically for the Wii will not work at all is simple ignorance.

Honestly, there are exceptions to everything. I'm not pretending that every point I make is absolute, and neither should anyone else. However, games that aren't specifically made for the Wii generally don't work with it.

Also, pointing your gun is-

1: Subjective. Myself and a lot of people I know greatly prefer the joystick controls.

2: Not exclusive to the Wii. Games have been doing this for years. There've been nintendo zappers and light guns and super scopes for a long time now.
