Yes. He's played by Bullet-Tooth Tony, too. (From Snatch.)
You mean Vinnie Jones? Ha! He's come along way from being a testicle crushing soccer player! ^^

She's in it. She's the one with purple hair in Calisto's posse. Speaking of which, whatta prick that porcupine guy was! He's like: "Oh, s...s...ssso you're superpower is settin' stuff on fire? W-well check this out!", and then giant zits grow out of his head like we're supposed to care. Man, the kid with the bad tounge from X2 had a more effective superpower than that loser!

I found it weird with the insane amount of mutants in Marvel, even in the post-Decimation storyline, that they actually had to make up guys like the Lizard Man dude.

Before watching the movie, my friends and I joked that his ultimate move would be hugging somebody to death. We were quite surprised and laughed when he did just that.

Tater Kain and Juggernaut, could you two please keep your spamming to Top Drawer? It's there for a reason. :P

As for X3, my friend and I are still trying to arrange a time to see it.

I saw 35 minutes of this movie...

Okay, so I liked the part where all the mutants attacked Alcatraz, and Juggernaut's line was awesome "Ahm the Juggernaut, bitch!"

However all the rest of the stuff, especially the thing with Dark Pheonix, was bullcrap. Wolverine's acting was so bad...

Anyway, there were only two other people in the theatre, so I don't know what this signals for this movie. And this was on Saturday.

Wait, that Juggernaut bit was near the end. How did you only see 35 minutes of it?

Psylocke's role was pathetic.

Alas, X-men fell into the three movie pattern.

1) This movie rocks!

2) Okay, not as good as the original.

3) Maybe biting my hand off will take away this pain...

I walked in during the angsty "What are we going to do with the school now?!" part and left at the part where Wolverine hugs Jean Grey.

I found it weird that in the X-Men game that HYDRA was in it. I guess they needed a disposable team of non-supervillain organized evil-doers for Wolverine to slash around, even if they weren't X-Men characters.

So... X2 would be the best film in the series to watch then?
...it's hard to believe Wolverine went to the same uni as me... Only a few years before too!

This movie sucked balls.
I can't believe they based it around Wolverine the entire fucking movie.
Yeah he's a cool character, but at least follow the source material a little bit.
They might as well have called it: "The life and times of Wolverine"
Dammit!

Spoiler!

Gripes I have:
Why kill Cyclops?
Why kill Xavier?
Why did they make Wolverine and Jean seem to love each other way more than they ever did in the comics or the show? Jean and Scott eventually have Cable. Did these fuckers even read the comics? I dont even like Cyclops, but that was bullshit!
I guess thats it for now. I'll add more later. Just so everyone knows what I'm pissed about.

Again, we don't know that Cyclops is officially dead. They never found a corpse. They didn't even show him getting killed.

I felt like X3 was seriously weak compared to the other two. My reasons include:

1. WHERE IS GAMBIT?!? That character is way too awesome to not end up in an xmen movie.
2. Other characters felt seriously dumbed down, like they wasted potential. Psylocke for instance is a really great character, and they made her into some third rate little girl follower.
3. Like everyone dying/ loosing their powers. Just didn't seem right.
4. Jean doing nothing but going absolutely bonkers throughout the entire film.

It was a solid movie though, and I did enjoy the little twist endings. Magneto getting back his powers and Xavier still alive, I mean.

Did anyone else feel that they really ignored that power canceling kid? I mean, all the major characters ignored him and we learned nothing about him, despite the fact that his exsistence was the cause of the movie's main conflict.

Heck, couldn't they just have plopped him down next to Jean at the end, nullified her powers and solved everything?

They almost had Gambit in the movie. They offered the role to Josh Holloway , who turned it down because he was too similar to his character on LOST. So they decided not to put in Gambit afterall. (This according to IMDB's trivia section of X3). I don't see why they didn't just find somebody else... it's not like only one person on this planet could possibly play Gambit, even as fitting as Holloway seemed.

Also, just to all the angry people out there:

You're free to dislike the movie... there are many reasons you could. But if you were expecting total fidelity to the comic books then you were setting yourself up for inevitable disappointment.

spoilers too:

Juggernaut's powers get nullified, it comes from a cosmic stone right?

I thought phoenix is a cosmic being that attached itself to jean grey, not a schizo entity

who's the drag looking person that claps shockwaves?

rogue is just lame, so lame

if ever they decide an x-4, they may need to call in a bishop stroyline to get the dead characters enough reason to be brought back.

when i was watching the movie, noting some of these stuff "my gawd, the comic nerds are gonna go crazy on this movie"

Leech isn't one of the major players in Marvel. He's a Morlocks regular, which are a group of mutants lead by Caliston who live underground in the New York sewers because their appearance is to different. His power is cancelling out mutant powers within a vicinity of himself, although that bit where Beast tried to shake hands and then his own hand turned normal wouldn't have happened. Leech only cancels out mutant powers, he doesn't make mutants physically turn into humans.

In alternate universes, the Phoenix has been shown as a natural extension of Jean's mutant ablities, so I would've been okay with them just doing the Phoenix like the did, except they went out of their way to make her demonic looking. In the X-2, she nearly manifests the Phoenix energy sign thoughout it. Why couldn't they have just done that?

Just saw it today and that's what I thought they were going to do at first. Then they just kept on going so I guess that was that. My friend suggested though that he would have to be in close range and Jean could just throw a car at him before that happens.

That was Prince making his music comeback.

Actually, Magneto referred to him as "Arclite" (Arclyte? Arclight?). Or her... I can't actually remember. And I'm not versed in Marvel enough to know if that's a character that existed before.

For me the X-Men are less cool then Spiderman. Sure they have Wolverine, but they also have Cyclops. I hate Cyclops. He's like that guy that would always be an asshole, but you could never punch him out for some reason. Also the mutant genes are an easy excuse for super heroes. House of M kind of fixed that, but this is about the movie.

I liked the movie a lot. When I first heard about it, I was like "oh cool, more matrix x men costumes and campy dialouge." I was surprised to find out that Juggernaught, my second favorite xmen character (first being Deadpool) appears in the film. I wasn't so excited by how his character looked, but I thought "eh, I still want to see it. Juggernuaughts awesome even sans helmet" about mid ways into the movie, he comes on and he has a british accent. He's also a mutant, and its just.. bleh. Not quite what I wanted. I still liked Wolverine, and Cyclops died at the begging, which was cool as hell. Beast was pretty cool in this thing too. Sideshow Bob made a good Beast, I thought. The plot was pretty decent too. I read the comics about the cure story a few months or years ago, so it was kind of a rehash for me, but still decent enough. The days of future past part was good too.

The defining moment, that truely made this from a decent film, to a good film was a line of dialouge during a scene of the film I'd already seen in an animated gif and trailer before. Juggernaught is crashing through some walls, and in the film is chasing after Kitty Pride. He yells at her "Don't you know who I am? I'm the Juggernaught, bitch!" and as Dave Chappelle proved, you can add bitch to any introduction and it becomes funny. For example, a microsoft employee says, "hey everybody look, its windows vista, bitch!" its hilarious.

Anyway, I say it was a good movie. It was good super hero fun, Wolverine was violent, Cyclops died, and Magneto was for the most part pretty evil. Even Juggernaught got a one liner.

Arclight is a regular evil mutant in Marvel. She was recently depowered during the whole Decimation thing. Speaking of the movie version of the Brotherhood, what was the deal with the "pawn" mutants that Magneto's team sent in first on Alcatraz? Out of the 5 or 6 dozen of them, none of them seemed to have any actual powers at all. The only ones who did were Lizard Man(that I'm sure alot of people thought was Toad), the dude who's arms kept growing back, and the volcano guy(Jewcano?). But all the other first-entry mutants didn't seem to have any powers whatsoever. I know alot of these guys were made up just for the movie and not original Marvel characters, but almost none of them had any powers, much less any physical mutations like steel skin or blue fur. It looked more like Magneto just got a bunch of street thugs together and just claimed that they were mutants to make his team look bigger.

#1. Thet decided to cut Nightcrawler out of the movie(possibly because the actor didnt want to do it)

Yeah, that one's Alan Cummings' fault. I'm sure they wanted Nightcrawler in there, but he said he was sick of sitting for five hours to have his makeup done.

I don't know why they just didn't get a different guy to play Nightcrawler. They went through 3 Kitty Prydes in this series, plus two Hank "Beast" McCoy's. Also, he's a guy in makeup. All they had to do was get another actor around the same build that looks enough like the original actor, and slap some pointy ears and blue paint on him.

my hopes were so ridiculously high for this movie, i accually left the theater telling myself how good it was... that was until it sunk in that..

(Spoilers)

Cyclops got killed off in the first 15 minutes.

Jean niether looked nor acted like the Pheonix in the comic.

Professor X was being a total turd, saying things like "I don't have to explain myself to you Logan" and the way he just gave up on Cyclops like that.

Magneto just left Mystique behind after she TAKES A BULLET FOR HIM and becomes human, after going to all that trouble to break her out of that convoy.

Storm's tornado attack thing was lame.

After the flashback about Angel at the begining, Angel had about 3 other scenes in the movie.

Pyro and Iceman's fight could have been ALOT better.

Multiple Man doesn't seem to care that magneto uses him as a decoy.

Juggernaut runs into a wall and gets knocked out (what the hell's his helmet for than??)

------

i'm a big X-Men fan, but this movie was very crappy. Best thing though, was Juggernaut's one liner! XD
