I just confirmed my account, but it seems to think I'm under thirteen; I happen to be sixteen. I don't know why this is. I'm almost certain I put in the correct birth-year and even if my mouse missed I'd still be at least thirteen. I also don't see an option in the "My Account" section to fix this. So: can it be changed, and is this going to affect my use of the site?

It stops you looking at Mature rated comics or something and people over 15 can't send PQ messages...
I've changed it so that won't be an issue for you now.

Mine is the same. It says I'm thirteen, and I'm seventeen.

You'll still have the wrong age solanawolf, but now I've taken off the Coppa restrictions thing on your account that won't mater. :)

OK, should be fixed. If you still can't access A comics there's nothing else I can do though, you may as well make a new account if that's the case.

Um, don't worry about it. The system doesn't really stop you from doing anything. You shouldn't have access to adult comics anyway.
The only thing is that people over 15 or something won't be able to PQ you.

There's no way we can really fix this yet tillthe site turns over to the new system. Don't worry you won't be missing out on anything reallt though thatt you woldn't have at the other age level.

That's actually currently a bug with the new site- no one can access Adult comics, if that's what you're trying to do when you get that message. It's been reported and is on their high priority list.

I am 24 and the site believes that i am currently under 18.  It has been almost 7 months since the previous post, has this age issue still not been rectified?  By the way, I joined in 2007, so it's not like this is a new account.

Hi crees, I've fixed yours, it had your birthday as 1999.
 
Haerzog, that adult comics bug was fixed a long time ago. I'm not sure what bug you're experiencing now but it looks like it's preventing just you from viewing adult content. I'm sorry but I don't have an answer for you. Any development to DD has been on hold since August. I'm not even sure if they have any programmers on staff any longer. I can send an e-mail to our remaining Wowio contact, but I doubt he will able to look into it- either because that is not his expertise or because as a company they've not been able to do anything with DD since the site changeover. It is really unfortunate and I'm sorry, you ought to be able to view all of DD's content. I'm afraid the only suggestion I have for you would be to create a new account if you want to see A stuff. :/

I fixed it for you, I just moved your birthday back 10 years :] If you need something, don't hesitate to PQ myself or ozoneocean directly- I think forum participation is a little spotty lately.

Been a member since 2006... buuut never had this issue before I was born in 82 I am 30...
Its a little odd that there is no age setting.

I also have a problem with the age on DrunkDuck. I'm 19 years old, and will be 20 soon, but it says I cannot view M-rated comics. If you could fix this for me, I'd appreciate it very much.
