Yeah. It's called The Science of Magic, and it's an Urban Fantasy. My main goal was mixing magic and technology and seeing what would happen. The plot centers around a spellcaster named Erik Weiss, who is nearly killed one day, and sets out to track down his attacker. This somehow leads to him being involved in a power struggle in the magical government.

Not that bad. It looks like that it is going to turn out to have a "Rick Riordan" feel to it-in the "OK. Wrong spell." part. One thing I will say is that that was a small first chapter-possibly because it was a prolouge. It is a modern fantasy...yes. I would like to see more of it, hopefully you will release them soon?
