Dude, it only costs like $30-some for the game, and an additional $16-some a month for the subscription fee. Just chew on your hand for awhile; that will save you some money food-wise. lol!

I'm a full time college student. I don't have a job and no income. Thus, no money.

But with 450g total, and about 300 unused (though rapidly filling with movies) its a small drop.
hardly a reason not to install it anyway.

Oh don't get me started about Vista. That thing fracked up my videogaming enjoyment. It really fracked up my FPS in WoW. Almost makes me want to re-install XP.

The 2.2 patch also killed hardware based sound and replaced it with a software only (thus lowering fps) system.
2.3 should reintroduce the hardware sound and fix fps a little.. but not for Vista users as their OS doesnt support it.

i highly recommend reinstalling XP.

Yeah, I noticed that about 2.2. There was a 110+ page thread on the WoW forums with players complaining to Bliz concerning 2.2 lowering FPS. Blizzard kept saying it wasn't their fault. ...A lot of people got so upset, they cancelled their accounts. My husband has XP and even his comp had crappy FPS since 2.2, so I know it wasn't just Vista fracking it up.

When is 2.3 coming out?

Should be at least 2-3 weeks yet.
They said they'd announce 2 weeks ahead of time when season 3 started.
And that's not been announced yet.

Hopefully soon though, but just keep an eye on sites like mmo-champion . They list the details as well.

I play. I just started ... two months ago, so I don't have any high-level characters yet. Here's what I got:

on Thrall:
- Zyanyaotl, level 33 Undead Affliction Warlock (my main, and oh god I love her so much!)
- Lavanya, level...12? 13? Troll Shaman (I want to go Enhancement)
- Katica, level 15 Night Elf Hunter (Beast spec, I think)

On Arathor:
- Felfi, level 13 Gnome Mage (just started this, love it. I'm going to spec arcane/frost)


I also have an Undead Priest on the RP server Scarlet Crusade, but I don't really play him.

Aszune yeah, but it's a european server ;)
I was able to play on the US servers, but i had to use a US version of the game for it. so it might not be worth it. (aside the +200 ms latency added)


The 2.3 Patch is planned to be released on 13 November, Season 3 starts 20.
Unless anything comes up during testing.

Considering most games are running smoothe on my xbox, why would I want to play a diablo clone set in warcraft stuff?
