Ok, so Fightsplosion 4 will definitely be a tagteam match.

I'm looking to use all the regular rules, but of course we need to make some new ones.
Here's what I propose so far. If you have any ideas or comments feel free to post them.
This is sort of a brainstorming session. Nothing is yet set in stone.

1. Each tag team will consist of 2 characters and 2 artists.
2. The artists are responsible for who draws what pages.
3. Although the theme of FS4 is tag team, which in the real world translate into cooperation, we aren't going to force that.
What I mean is: Both artists do not have to draw comics for FS. If both agree that one artist does all the drawings, so be it.
Also, if an artist has to drop out, the other artist can remain in the game...they will have much more work ahead of them though.
4. We're going to increase everything by one.
This means your standard fight page will be a max of 3 pages instead of 2. There will be 3 rounds in a fight instead of two. I think this increase will allow for enough play room to make both artist content with their level of participation.
5. The free man will *not* increase. The team will only get one free man between them.


I would really like to give out a prize this time around. My plan is to make a t-shirt for fightsplosion, and possibly add the winners art to it. problem is i'm not a rich man.
So, if people feel like donating, they're welcome to.

And Glarg makes a good point.I'm not sure if I prefer choosing a partner or getting a random one out of a hat...

Also, do the fights themselves increase by one? Sixteen fighters I assume, eight teams, but that only means there's only seven fights instead of the usual fifteen...I think it's fifteen. Could be a short tournament.

I had in mind that you would sign up as a team.
Get a chance to see how well people who *want* to work together do it.

Also we could still keep the trademark 16 slot ladder as there would be 16 teams.
Round one would pit 8 teams vs 8
then 4 vs 4
then 2 vs 2
then the final round.

anyways, i've emailed the admin to find out who i can possibly talk to in order to get some banners up; if it's even possible.

Will there be special trophies for your profile in this one, or is the idea still being worked on?

So all and all I like the rules thus far, but since we have two people working together, does that mean it will take longer for the pages to get done? Should we have a extension in time-limit per page posted?
Or you know, we could just post our pages independently with the same time limit as the last one and completely twist the thing around without our partners consent...thusly adding to sheer randomness (which everybody knows unexpected spontaneous-ness for the punch line = funny ).

Randomness is fun! On the other hand, I think the idea of working together means we should...well, work together. I dunno...five days is fine for one person to do a few pages, but when someone else is relying on you, you can't waste time. And I sure do like to waste time.

I think we can extend the due dates of the comics.

I'm more comfortable with people working together as the rule. If the team decides that they want to have each member do their own thing, that's cool too, but that's up to them. I won't force that on anyone. :)

Tag Team sounds like a great idea. When FS4 sign-ups start, i'm for sure gonna enter(with whoever wants to team up with meh :3 ).

Can't wait to see how this turns out!

Alright so we have extended time, we get to choose our own partners, we get three pages per turn, grand-prize is a nifty FS shirt, our freeman doesn't increase, Radec is suppose to be coming back, and we have more turns in this time around?
