I'll be going...to the one in Texas!

Nubsauce

Here's why I'm sad.
I'd go to all of them if I could, but I'll be stuck in Orlando. After going to the first, it makes me not wanna miss out on the others, especially since what came of the first one!

Definitely take the chance to go to at least one!
You'll make great friends and have fun networking and drawing.

It's awesome

There's a pretty good chance I'll attend. I'm not too far from it (I'm in Michigan)... though, I doubt I'll be there for more than one day.

I'll definitly be at the Motorcity Comic Con however.

I want to go to the chicago one, but I don't have much money.
I'm hoping that if I work through summer, I can get enough...

I'm in Illinois, but I'm probably not going. I'm not quite as in to all this stuff they showcase there, plus DD isn't having a table so I see no point in paying for it.

What are you talking about Atom Apple?

DD supplies the booth for you if you go to Wizard World.
I know. From experience

Yes we will be at all the Wizard Worlds in '07. I'm so excited about Chicago. I've been to so many anime cons in rosemont.

We provide the table space, art supplies, a meal, and crazy wild con fun. ^_^

Look for more details for Chicago soon.

I'd love to go...really, really want to. But I've got two new comic book series I'm working on, editing two graphic novels, and trying to keep the webcomics going. I think San Diego is going to have to be my next con. Can't spare the time. But if you're thinking about going anywhere right now, Chicago is a MUST.

I'm looking to get out to Chicago - it really all depends on if I can get a table or not. And I'm not sure how many folks here are into the RPG/Fantasy cons or not, but Gen Con will the weekend directly following Chicago, which I will definitely be at. I have to say, I'm really looking forward to both cons! Now, I just hope I can grab a table at Chicago!

Ah, the Rosemont. How many times have I been there? I can hardly count. And for people who don't realize it, it's not in downtown Chicago per say. Actually, it's closer to O'Hare airport than anywhere else. Still, they have a really really nice convention center there.

Huh. This one snuck up on me!

I should probably think about going next year, since Chicago is really close to where I live.

I'm blowing most of my cash on ComicCon San Diego this year, though.

For those driving, the CTA Blue Line (Chicago Transit Authority) has the cheapest parking lot three blocks north of the convention center. It should be about $3 to park for 12 hours. It makes sense for people who aren't staying in the hotels right there and don't have a lot of stuff to carry.

The Blue line also runs 24 hours if you want to visit Chicago proper--Which I highly suggest!

The tables in the Artist Alley are insanely expensive but from my experience in the past anyone who wants a table can register to get one. But do you want to save up all year for a couple hundred dollar table amongst nearly a thousand others? Now groups of tables make things a little easier, but all by yourself just seems like you'd get lost in a crowd. I'd go smaller if you can, like Anime Central.

Artist Alley tables can be expensive, and as Junobliarb mentioned it's easy to get lost. Actually I got lost at ACen. They always stick artist alley like behind the dealer's room or something.

That's why the Drunk Duck alley's rock, we're pretty visible as a group of tables and with all the signage. Really great for Artist Alley n00bs
