Aww the group was so much bigger today! I wish so badly that my crew could've stayed longer.

I have some Friday pictures!

First, we totally saw the best truck on I-95:

Alex, me, and Brian eating Philly cheesesteaks!

Me being psychotic

Me, Alex with his tiny Nazis, and Howard over in the corner

Me and Replacement Kit, as he tries so very hard to be my boyfriend

You can kind of see everyone!

Dave and Shaun -- I love these guys

Howard and Carly liked our table because we had STUFF goin' DOWN.

Seriously he looked so much like Kevin Smith

And for Carly:

:D What an awesome day, I hope the rest is going/went just as well if not better! Pics from today look great. Again, I wish we could've stayed!!

It was fun! Everyone was so nice and approachable, and the amount talent we have on this site always amazes me. We had practically a WHOLE ISLE (what 5,6 tables?) and a great location too! We were right along the way to the bathrooms and right across from the "Light saber battles", a big audience draw.

Amy, Nick, Shaun, Dave, Jon, Nick, Steve, Alexis, Jen, Dawn, Joe, DJ, Jason, Dylan, Carly, and Howard* - it was great meeting all of you!

Special thanks to Carly, Howard, and of course, Dylan Squires (Volte) for setting us up. And lunch! :D

Volte, I hope you took some time to look around and see what you are responsible for. Several years ago, you created Drunk Duck just to see if you could actually do it. Well, you did it my friend. You started one of the best communities on the web. I can't even imagine how many thousands of peoples lives you have touched just by letting us play in this little corner of the web. And it's just getting better! Cheers, man. You should be proud. :D

*Hope I remembered everyone I met. ;)

It was awesome meeting you guys there, and I really regret not being able to get a booth... maybe next year, though!

And don't think you've gotten rid of me. I'll be there to bug you guys at Chicago!

Well, I have to say I was a bit nervous... WW in Philly was my first convention EVER (convention virgin, here!).. and I wasn't sure what I'd be in for. And I wasn't even AT a table (I found out about the sign-ups way too late, just paid the $25 for a normal ticket). But I printed a ton of stickers, magnets, fliers, etc etc etc to hand out, to try my best to promote ol' "Z&F". I figured I'd swing by the drunk duck table, see if I could talk to people there about the site, whatever. They'd probably be too busy to talk to me... yknow...

Boy was I surprised! After they all realized that I was also a DD-er and not just some random chick standing around sucking up their air (okay, so I'm not the most outgoing person),everyone was very welcoming and included me in whatever projects they were working on. I was even invited for the group photo, which was nice. I managed to pass out most of my promo stuff, I hope it was worth it! Afterwards we all grabbed dinner and even went bowling at the damn-near-SWANKIEST bowling alley I've ever seen. It was a blast, I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

To everyone I met: Alexis, Jon & the guys from "the Dock", Sammy, Amy and Nick, Jason and DJ with "Hero by Night", Steve and Chuck from "Gods of ArrKelaan", Howie and Dylan, Franco and the guys from Art Baltazar, Crazy-crazy Carly!, and the "America Jr." Brothers... you all were wonderful and endless thank-you's for including me! I'm SO there with you all next year! Having no close-by friends who read/write/care about comics, it's such a relief to meet a group like you all!

(these wonderful people even helped my sorry ass find where the hell I parked my car, lol)

To the others of you out there who are "thinking" about reserving a table with DD, but not "quite" sure if you wanna actually do it.. GO FOR IT! Totally, totally, totally worth it ;0)

And now for "pikturez"

yes, Chinatown kinda does stink a little. Okay, a lot. I'm not proud of it though.

After all, the slogan goes: "Eat a cheesesteak, scarf down a pretzel, flip off a random driver, and get a wiff of Chinatown!" weehoo. goooo Philly.

Yes, thanks goodness for google maps. I felt like an idiot. Must have been the liquor *wink wink*

Awesomness~! You guys looked like you had fun bowling! I had a long drive home a head of me, if I didn't I so would have went with you guys. dgriff13 your pictures so prove the fact the convention was over run by Star Wars people. We were looking for people that might be dressed up as pirates because it seemed to be a big thing lately and we only saw 1 or 2 people. I was suprised there wasn't that many Naruto fans there lol. This was my first convention as well so that is cool !

Neilak20 the WWTX is Nov.16th-18th so you got plenty of time :D

It was fun meeting everyone ^-^ and HOPEFULLY I can go to Chicago

Suzi, yes i have NO DOUBT that you would've kicked all of asses, well except Jason Embury's. He kicked all of ours. I almost broke a 100, and fell over several times

(god we are a bunch of dorks...)

BTW for those of you wondering on that last group shot it's (in the back) Art Baltazar, Franco, (creators of Patrick the Wolfboy), Jamie the Muscle (their strong arm) and a squinty DJ. Then in the front; half a Dylan, Me, and your VP of Digital Publishing "Brother Howie" ...what happened to Jason?

Not sure where the heck jason went in that last pic, maybe he's with the "other half" of Dylan, whoops... and yes, he did kick much ass in bowling! I was just happy to score over 100, lol.

Thanks for filling everyone in, Carly!

What a digusting floor. Everything Duck related looked fun. But seriously, that floor is not fit enough to host any Wizard World.

I re-uploaded the pics (including the bowling pics) again.. I think their size were causing problems with some browsers... hopefully they're good now!

Moar Pikturez... Now onto Saturday!

Me, Art, and Dylan

Random Con Shot...

Those nice boys from The Dock (he he he) and Jen and her uber cool mom!

DJ and Jason working the con!

Me drawing the luckiest Aerith EVAR (she had a Cloud and Zach at her beck and call)

My, my is that a SpANG and Ronson I see in the back there?

Joe Gibson (I call 'im Joe Gib fer shorts)

The scene right before the Iron Artist Competition (i'm the school girl host)

In the heat of battle!

Jen drawing her little heart out!

Amelius' home-made Jackalopes (they were *so* cute!)

All the Iron Artist Participants! (we're scanning that art) the Theme Ingredient was DUCK! and with the help of the Audience we ended up with "The Duck in the desert in Winter with a hat and broccoli"

Amy drawing at her booth

There be Chucks...

Moar drawing...

Everyone's working so hard!

The beginning of Saturday's Art Jam (with a >:0 Carly)

Saturday Group Shot #1

That's more like it, M'kay starting in the back on the Left: Martha, Chuck, Carly, Amy, Nick, Steve (way back), Joe, DJ, Jon, Howard, Steve; Front: Dawn, Dylan, Jen, and Alexis...wow we're missing a few people aren't we?

Now Sunday (Father's Day so it was low key)

Art kept telling Howard that he wanted to come over to his house to eat cookies and talk about girls. He brought this over to the booth Sunday!

Art and Franco are cosplayers too!

Cosplayers UNITE!

...and then we spent 8 hours on the most cramped plane ever!!

Ah even more pictures to come AND scans of the two art jams, the Saturday fusion, and Iron Artist Posters; with the announcement of the Drunk Duck Iron Artist Philadelphia!

Oh OH and we will have footage up of the Web Comics Panel. The response and attendance was amazing !

Hahahaha... I love Art and the gang. Funny mothercrunkers.

Me in the bowling pic group shot? They made me take off my hat because the bowling alley had a dress code! I don't mind not wearing a hat, but still that was kinda weird. Odd.

You think you guys were on a cramped plane, holy crap you you should have seen the tiny plane to Pittsburgh, and we were stuck on the runway for more than an hour with no air it seemed. Awh well, any travel cramps is totally worth the time meeting everyone, and helping folks out on the Drunk Duck panel was awesome.

Rock On.
