This was so much fun. It was great to meet everybody and put a face to the comic or face to the user id or face to the avatar. Thanks again to the Drunk Duck staff for being such wonderful hosts. I have being going to the Chicago Convention off and on for the past 18 years and never have I felt more of a sense of community than with the DD artists and crew this year.

I swear in the name of the gods of death and destruction that within a years time i will take over the Wizard world!

Holy crap! I totally didn't even recognize myself behind the table. Totally not used to having that much hair. XD

We had such a blast y'all. Thanks to everyone that made it possible and super thanks to all the DD crew for holding it all together. I go to conventions every month during the year and I have to say that this one was probably the most fun. It was relaxing without pressure and you got to hang out with totally awesome peeps. I hope we can do it again sometime. :D

BTW: Atomic Sandwich of Doom ended up back in our stomaches before we left on Sunday. I think you created a thing there. XD

Awe, crap-sauce! Friday looks so cool. Damn work. Somehow I missed junoblairb on Sunday, but I think I did see her. I didn't know what anyone looked like except Carly! I just found out matteblack was the cute blond guy. Oh well, next year I'll bother you all with awkward praise.

I kept looking for you! I wasn't there on Sunday because we had to get stuff done in the city and then get out before traffic got too bad. Hope to see you next year!

I can understand that. Chicago traffic is...hell. But the plan is to definately be there in 08!

Trust me - we took that to and from the con. Aside from the construction on the Blue Line it's my preferred travel around the city... But getting back to Tennessee... Chicago couldn't quite get the red line all the way there. :/

It's so hard to sell because people think I only have one and it's that beat up foam board one. Then there are some people that only want the foam board one. Someday I'll figure out how to get around all that.


Now that I look at it, you can't tell it's beat all to hell in that one! Man... if only it did look that nice in real life!

I used to buy booth space back in the day when I self published. Now I am content to just go as a fan. Chicago is a fun con. Not as fun as San Diego, but fun. This year, in Chicago, there will be a second convention going on right across the street. A big horror convention with all kinds of actors and directors. So Chicago is a must for me this year!

Here the fest: Flashback Weekend , Wizard World starts on that Thursday. Whoooohooo!

A horror con across from Wizard World!?! Dude, that's gonna be sweet! Now I'm glad that I'm going early, and staying close by - so I can drink with the horror freaks, and their makeup artists! :D

There's also going to be a Zombie Walk in Chicago that weekend!

I think Chicago con is the last week in June... I want to say 27th, 28th and 29th. I'll be staying the night of the 28th. (sat.) Yes, there is also a horror convention across the sreet, the same weekend. www.flashbackweekend.com

Hell yeah, I'm going. I'll be there at Artist Alley from the 27-29 (technically its open Thursday night for like, 3 hours). Tyler and everyone else, be sure to come by my table and say HI. :)

I definately will stop by. I as goin to get a table, but I didnt know If Id have anything to sell......I might have copies of Engine with me....it all depends on the printer. Anyone else going to Chicago? Maybe all the Drunk Duckers can meet up for dinner or something?

DD get together and/or dinner is a great idea. If I'm not mistaken, I think Carly is going to be there, but I'm not sure who else. Who's all going to Wizard World Chicago?!

I'll be there, everyone. Hanging out with many friends (it's going to be a very busy weekend for me, to be sure), but if there's gonna be a DD get-together, I'll try to at least make an appearance.

Look for the tall / bald guy walking around in awe, and there's a good chance that it's me. :P
