Heh. Yeah, the muscle structure alone would double your body weight.
Not really. you know how Birds manage to fly even when some of the birds clearly have wings that's smaller than their body size, such as Flamingos?
Because their whole bone structure is VERY light, and actually HOLLOW. which of course reduces some of the bodyweight. take on to the fact that their muscles and body mass is very taunt from the constant exercises they have.
Interesting fact: did you know that birds actually eat three times their weight? That's because all the constant flying and exercise they get, often burns up fat in their body fast.
So if Humans managed to gain wings, the one way for them to fly freely without any problems is to have light, hollow bones, be very expertly fit to the point where their body itself is only like 60 pounds or something.
of course the added wings would add a few pounds, but this way it wouldn't be such a psychical impossibility for humans to fly.
