I just installed the Wii on my TV, insane experience it was indeed. The first game I tired was Red Steel, which has somewhat of a steep learning curve. It's so different from all the first person shooters that it qualifies as a new experience, think of Police 911. Remember that game? The one with motion sensors and stuff like that? The experience is almost like that. Except that you can move around freely. Also, instead of tracking you, the remote is what is being tracked. It takes a while to get used to it, but once you do. You move with the numbchuck, you shoot with the remote. It passes awesome, all the way to awesomesauce. The neat little thing is the fact that your remote control has a little stereo, so that it sounds like your shooting a gun. (It makes a clicking noise when the gun is out of bullets.)

Then Wii Sports, which is just awesome. The games included are Baseball, Bowling, Golf, Tennis and Boxing. All play as if you were playing each respected sport. Bowling is okay, you move your hand back, move it foward, like real bowling. It's alot of fun. Baseball actually makes baseball intersting, you hold the remote as a bat, then you just swing. In writing it sounds boring, but in execution is where it makes the difference. Golf is one I liked, it's basically like playing Golf, only not boring. Then there's boxing. Dear God, this is the greatest thing ever.

Basically, you can't describe playing the Wii. You have to play it

I just got done playing with my Wii some more.;)

I went back home for the holiday and the first thing I see on the front page of the paper is an article about how one of the local malls had riots due to the new systems. I think I'll definitely wait until after the holiday season to aquire anything new.

I didn't get one, but a friend of mine did, so I went over to play it. Wii Sports was pretty good, and Zelda looked awesome, although far too difficult for me to play (I suck at Zelda games). I don't know when I'd ever have time to play the system anyway. At the moment all my spare time has been going towards beating "Elite Beat Agents" (so much so that I've stopped drawing for the past week).

I still want a Wii though, just so I can play Wii sports with my family.

I never compare graphics so I think it looks pretty damn good... after all, the last Zelda was cell shaded and cartoon like :P Wind Waker was fun though

Jesus, I just noticed I can't go around saying, "I played around with my Wii so much, that my arm started to hurt." Even though the above statement in question is indeed true, you arm will hurt when playing with the Wii for extended periods of time. >.>

I feel like I've become healthier simply from playing the Wii.

I plan on getting a Wii as soon as they put out a black version... By then the odds of the machine being faulty will be lower, too. Waiting to play Zelda is the part that's killing me. I think I may rent it for Gamecube next month and then buy it for Wii later.
