Name of comic: Panda panda!
Genre: Hmmmm..... folk tales? Children's stories? Educational? I dunno.
Synopsis: I can't draw and I love pandas, so I picked up a knife and started cutting animals out of construction paper to tell everyone the story of how pandas became black and white. The natural thing was to follow that up with more folk tales.
Why we should take the time to read your comic?: It won't take a lot of your time and everybody loves pandas! Right?

Name of comic: Internet Superbuddies.
http://www.drunkduck.com/Internet_Superbuddies
Genre:
Science Fiction/Gaming/Horror/Humor/Biography/with haunted houses, mazes, and a sinister twist. (I have no idea what that last part was getting at--but i'm honestly having trouble putting this in a genre.)
Synopsis:
The schtick. A bunch of major characters and their daily-encounters with absolutely nothing, in a four, eight, twelve, or sixteen panel format. It features ridiculous events based on the ravings of a pop-culture obsessed child of the eighties, and the world's counter-reactions, in a bitter, sardonic, and sometimes violent and profane way. It updates every Wednesday and Saturday (usually. sometimes i get zealous and over-update.)
Why we should take the time to read your comic?:
Firstly, because I'm funny as hell. :)
Also because internet superbuddies is a PIXEL comic. (note the difference from a 'sprite comic'.) I actually put effort into making my comic from something that has a horrendous reputation throughout the webcomic industry, and hope that it's merit alone will make it shine above the rest. I can write. I can spell. I don't use video game sprites. I draw 99.5% of everything that shows up. And hell, the comic is funny (sometimes.) I mean, i like it, anyway. I'm sure if it's given a chance by the skeptic outsider's eye, they'll like it too. (for what it's worth.)
It currently is in a one-shot, joke telling format, but i promise that i'm developing it into mini-story arcs as well, with even a few animated projects of the Internet Superbuddies in the works off my website. If you like time travel, stupid dialogue tricks, mecha, zombies, ninjas, nazi game store owners, robot-human brain transplants, ghost stories, role playing, and collectible card games, you're sure to find a niche here. I have 35 comics uploaded as of this post, and i've been steadily focused on this comic since February...and am having an absolute blast working on it, and receiving comments, and suggestions from the audience.
I frequently mix up the formula by trying new things, so my comic is never stale, and it always has something new going on in it. I don't intend on becoming the next PA or Ctrl+Alt+Del. But i know my comic isn't total garbage either.

Name of Comic: Starship Moonhawk
Genre: Sci-fi, Space Odyssey
Synopsis: In the 30th Century, one ship stands between order and chaos. The United States Alliance places their last, best hope for peace in the hands of the Starship Moonhawk and her crew. Follow their adventures as they cruise the outer limits of the galaxy boldly going where no man... dammit. I said I wasn't going to do that.
Why Should You Read?: Starship Moonhawk has a little bit of something for everyone: romance, wit, adventure, action, space battles, exotic aliens, cool art (lovingly hand-rendered) and a story that will leave you guessing until the final pages. Forget about Star Trek, Firefly, Babylon 5, Andromeda or Battlestar Galactica. This is where it's at.
Violence/Gore: A little.
Sexuality/Adult Themes: At times, but mostly just swearing and boobs. (and the occasional butt)
95% Teen+, but we rarely go to excess. Sometimes there's too much of a good thing, I sez. ;)

Name of Comic:How Unfortunate
Genre:Action, Humor, Superhero
Synopsis:A few years in the future, two police detectives are forced to join a government-runned agency whose purpose is to track down and capture dangerous super powered beings. They have to work with a group of recently detained SPB's who may be even more dangerous than the criminals. On top of that, they have to deal with a clumsy group of villains who can't seem to do anything right.
Why Should You Read?:Because this is definitely not your regular ho-hum run-of-the-mill superhero type story (its filled with plenty of oddness and off-the-wall humor). Because there's over 100 pages of story to be read, with only a couple of filler pages. Because it would make me REALLY happy.
Is there anything that could be offensive?:HU has a mature rating. There's quite a few violent and gory moments, adult themes, and some brief nudity.

Name of Comic: Tales of the Revenant
Genre: Action/Superhero/Horror
Rating: T+ (for occasional, graphic violence)
Synopsis: It's 1947. 15-year old Eddie Shaw has found a ring that contains the spirit of a dead vigilante who convinces Eddie to assist him in his unending quest to avenge the ghosts of the murdered. With pistols that fire ectoplasmic bullets, Eddie and the ghost join together to become THE REVENANT.
Why should you read: The comic has the noir feel of an old, black and white horror movie with great settings and characters. It's updated usually twice a week and is nearing the end of the first story. There's plenty of action, mystery and monsters, but the really interesting thing is how Eddie and Charles learn to deal with each other.
Will there be blood? People get shot, and there are cultists...so yep.
Will there be monsters? Oh yes indeed...

Name: Galactic Hub Serreven
Genre: Sci-Fi/Comedy
Plot: Angn D'Lazmuh has just been given an important new job, he's the new Administrator to the Galactic Hub Serreven; one of the most important stops for any traveler in the Galaxy. As soon as he gets there he finds out there's been an increasing number of deaths onboard the station, including the last Administrator. While there he meets his new residents and co-workers such as the sarcastic robot Dicc, the charming waitress Enna and the Federal Police-Officer Maxine. There series focuses on Angn's getting used to the new job and the challenge of managing an artificial space-society.
Why should you read it?: The comic updates on time every week, with full color artwork that's uniquely drawn. I'm also a published print-comic author, and GHS actually has a huge universe and backstory to it which is slowly revealed through the comic itself, or the comic it spun off from, Cosmic Dash, and when I mean huge, I mean a huge galaxy with many races and planets, and eons and eons of galactic history.
Aything I'm wanting you to read?: Plenty, but keep reading GHS for the next story-arc concerning the inter-station politics. :D It's going to be hilarious.

Name of comic: Crisscross Read It!
Genre: Manga, Action, Sci-Fi, & Random (The last probably sums it up the best)
Rating: Currently T+, May Change Soon.
Synopsis: A College Student begins having vivid dreams (or hallucinations) of the end of the world. This leads up to a somewhat upredictable chain of events which lands her several decades in a post-apocalyptic future. Without anywhere to turn, she is thrust into an unfamiliar world with only a social outcast and drifter of the wastelands. While still trying to figure out the purpose of her dreams in all of it.
Why we should take the time to read your comic?: As a collision of many different genres and ideas which I've cultivated over the years (from countless inspirations). There are several years worth of character ideas being poured into this story and I'd like to say I've put quite alot of effort into all my characters. Although the artwork is pixelated (Curse MSPaint!) I do put considerable effort and thought into it. Fight Scenes! Explosions! Humor! (Perhaps a touch of Romance!) Really, I believe random sums it up pretty nicely.
Will the Artwork Improve: Hopefully Yes. I'm working REALLY hard on getting a Tablet and some decent digital art programs, so the pixelated style won't be there forever.
It's my First Time: It's basically my first shot at doing a REAL comic (I did alittle artwork for the now defunct "Hero Snap" but besides that It's all just little doodles of mine and a couple high school art courses) so comments, suggestions, and criticism are GREATLY appreciated!!

I don't usually do this sorta thing but I'm desperate for free advertising and after considering selling my body this seemed like the better choice.
Name of comic: The (super) Grenz. http://www.drunkduck.com/The_Super_Grenz/
Genre: Combines what I assume are the key genres of comics: super hero, humour, action/adventure.
Synopsis: The Grenz is about the Grenz. *reaches under table* Here's a synopsis I prepared earlier. "The Grenz - A superhero group made up of four strange people with super powers, managed by a rich floating head. Together they set out to face the challenges they are set with, thus making the world a better place."
Why we should take the time to read your comic?: Because if you don't take time reading it then you'll be reading it too quickly thus you'll spoil the potential experience that could be had from sitting back a bit and taking the time to read it properly. However assuming that you are late for the bus or on your way too work, in which case you should probably bookmark it and save it for later.

Name: Anarchy 2090 (formally Anarchy the Game)
Rating: T+ (language, violence)
Genre: Action/Comedy
Style: An AWESOME fussion of Manga and American Cartoons (specificly Butch Hartman)
Synopsis: Tabbi O'Malley's life is getting stressful.
She has a crazy family, she's not doing exceptionally well in school, she falls asleep a lot and gets beat up by nuns, her uniform is too cold for the winter months....
..and, due to a gentetic flaw and an electrical storm the summer before she's gained super human abilities from a MMORPG...
Join Tabbi, her cousin Tadhg, and his friend (and her possible love intrest) Crow as they deal with their freshman year in a Catholic High School, the changes that come with growing up, and attempting to stop the real world and the game world from merging together and destroying reality as we know it forever!
Why should you read Anarchy? Because, dispite sounding like a .hack rip off, its pretty orignal. (I've never actually read or watched .hack before, I didn't know it exsisted until I put Anarchy online. xD; )
Theres a big cast of "lovable," relatable characters. Even the most powerful players in the story have some sort of hillarious flaw, wether it be a fear of cats or an obnoxious little sister that constantly needs saving. It's almost 3 complete books long so far, 360+ pages, and fast paced to keep your intrest. The art in the begining is less than perfect, but if you can get through the first chapter its an easy read. ^_^ In the newer pages expect awesome thick outline, cellshading, and ORANGE. :3
What do we Have?
Zombie squirrels with British accients
Pissy Emo boyz
Furries who aren't really furries
Possessed people
Evil computer viruses that do the possess'n
A "mentally confused" NPC running a muck in the real world
Skimpy School Girl Uniforms
People taking on the physical traits of their game characters
A Zombie Ninja with emo glasses
Blood! And lots of it! :3
IT TASTES LIKE KOOLAID! 8D
And on a final note:
Anarchy 2090 is a manga styled webcomic by a teenage girl that doesn't include yaoi/shonen-ai/bl! Who would have guessed?!

Genre: Horror, Japanese Folklore, CSI, and a little bit of anti-hero thrown in!
Synopsis:
The story revolves around police detective Yokai Okama, Japanese American. In a world where all is not as it appears on the surface misdeeds seem to always rise. Yokai Okama's role is on the front lines investigating and solving these crimes. Yokai has the ability to shape shift into a wolf demon under the moniker . In this form he has abilities drawn from blood and manipulating blood. Transformation is not the normal lycanthrope mutation of Yokai's body but rather liquefying into a pool of blood and emerging out of it in his demon wolf form. can regenerate limbs if loss and extend himself exponentially, and as a bloodhound following a trail, can transport wormhole-like through traces of blood leading to its source.
However Yokai has his own struggles. Unlike the manufactured populace Yokai's abilities were inherited. Born from long line of assassins which can be traced back to feudal Japan, Yokai struggles with this dark legacy to making a new one. But there are those that have their own plans reaching from that distant past to reclaim him and those in the present wanting for their own designs. Also a series of murders have occurred linked with strange symbols that Yokai seems to recognize. Is there a connection between these present murders and 's past?
Why we should take the time to read your comic?: IMO I think...
...It's different from the run of the mill story line...
...It just started so a good time to jump on!..
...being new to this community I would love to invite others to share their work as I do mine...
...It's filled with action while being thought provoking...
...other peoples take on the work itself...
...get to know new people!...
...new page update this Friday and on every Monday and Friday!!!
...easy access!

...also I plan to read all those who have posted in this thread above me and those after me too! :)

Name: Godlings
Rating: T+
Genre: fantasy stuff
synopsis: Three young Gods decide that they do not want to be gods...so they leave their kingdom and go to a planet or "Mortal Soil" as the gods call their creations. Their departure from their duties and planned fates cause a riot back in their Kingdom and more trouble then they ever could of imagined. This story is my philosophical take on what freedom is and what choice means to us in our lives.
Why read it: You mean you don't want to...:( I remember someone saying one time to make really good comic book instead of a bunch of them. So this story is my best artwork and storytelling I have done so far. This is my BEST comic I have done so far. There is lots of drama, humor, and deep thoughts:) Besides my comic is the only one where you can eventually see three young gods skipping stones...yes, skipping stones...check it out and make my day:)

Name: Brymstone
Rating:Mature (mostly for language and gore at this point.)
Genre:Fantasy
Synopsis: An legendary immortal evil sorcerer, who wielded a forbidden power called the Behennon force, is forced to undergo spiritual rehab as a quazi clueless monk boy. The transition from evil despot to 'shining force for good' isn't an easy switch to make, and he's fighting it tooth and nail.
Why should you read this comic:
Well aside from the fact that its funny, witty, and got some great art (which yes yes, I know every comic says, but I really mean it about Brymstone...) It's a great place to pick up some fresh insults and creative swearing for your personal vulgarity lexicon. It's also got some kick ass action with lots of explosion, general devastation, blood, gore, cool looking magic stuff, yada. There is actually a story going on despite all that, but its one hell of a fun ride with some very interesting twists and turns along the way.
Since I'm about 8 or so pages from finishing the new prologue (from 8 to 30ish pages. woo!) Its a good time to get involved. Soon, it shall move forward with regular updates, and it shall be glorious. Be a part of that glory!
And if Fantasy isn't your cup of tea, try:
Name: Shifters: Redux
Rating:Mature (mature themes, extreme violence forthcoming.)
Genre:Cyberpunk/Horror Urban Fantasy
Synopsis:On halloween night of the year 2034, a celestial phenomenon unseen for over 500 years comes to pass. Unknown to the good people of the world, this sign heralds the end of an age and the renewal of an ancient war that threatens not only the lives of people of the world, but the very soul of the planet itself. The soldiers of this war, old and new, find themselves once again drawn into hot conflict after centuries of cold war between themselves. Vampires, Shifters, Fae and others who've hidden in the shadows and concealed themselves to the modern world through conspiracy, are brought against a newborn yet ancient horror thought to be long extinct. The Kinsmir, a horrific monster born of both shifter and vampire, has awakened. But not only has the dark unleashed its weapons, the heart of the world, Gaia, has devised her own weapon to end this war once and for all, and this isn't good news for the mortals of the world.
The story itself follows the path of three senior highschool students who find themselves right in the middle of the conflict. Alice 'Kat' Sherry, Ben 'Sominous' Harkus, and their friend and newly 'born' kinsmir, Ferrah Rolly. Together with a cast of characters from within the veil and without, they have to confront the darkness, not only without, but within as well, not only for their own sake, but the entire of their world.
Why should you read this comic:
- The art is good. Its been redone from scratch, with professional tools and skill.
- Lots of action. If you like blood, violence, and battle scenes with bad ass guys with blades and bad ass babes with guns, you'll probably enjoy this at some point.
- The story has been in development for many years, with a previous incarnation of this comic. The new one, all the serious problems have been ironed out making it fairly easy to follow.
- The main characters are hawt.
- Its a manga style comic, but its still got a unique flavor, and its not set in japan! (gasp and aw!).
- The kinsmir are freaking cool.
- Its got flavor?
anyway, check it out. :)

Name of Comic Angels of the Fallen
http://www.drunkduck.com/Angels_of_the_Fallen/index.php?p=126019
Genre uhm, fantasy/romance/action i guess? ^^'
Rating well, M for mature because there's gonna be some pretty violent scenes and SOME suggestive material, plus language.
synopsis Centered around a young woman named Kayla, Angels of the Fallen is the story of nine young adults and their struggles against a vast demon horde to save not only their world, but themselves. Plus their struggles to hook up with their 1 tru luv. :B
Why should we take the time to read your comic?
We have here scenarios and characters ranging from horrific to hilarious, romantic to pig-headed, cunning to idiotic. Its an epic story currently in its beginning, with dozens of characters (who I hope are interesting enough xD)
Plus I feel confident enough that I have at least decent story telling and artistic abilities that I won't make your eyes bleed :D
What else is in it? Demons, dragons, magic, romance, conflict, tragedy, and fluff. And demons. Lots of demons. As in horrible little goblin monster type demons. Plus the obligatory so-hot-i-want-their-babies characters. :D
Enjoy!

Bandwagon!
Name of comic: The Pirate Terminators
Genre: Comedy/fantasy adventure
Synopsis: Set in an age where pirates follow an underground code of honor and ninjas are set out by the government to defeat these deep-sea mavericks, the all-female pirate crew of the Loose Cannon quest for the Rainbow Cantamelon and fight all manners of bizarre, man or beast.
Why we should take the time to read your comic?: If you can look past the hyper-cutesy nature of the first four comics (And the convoluted history which is still being worked out here), there's a little something for everyone: action, comedy, romance, and ridiculous anime boobs.
Where the heck're the ninjas you promised? The ninjas will be there, promise! Just wait for the Prologue episode to finish - the next episode will introduce the beginning of the Pirate Terminators' entry into the epic battle between pirate and ninja.
