Bah, I don't know about you guys, but when I read manga, or read any kind of comic, I look at it as if it's real life, or can happen in real life, even if it's completely fictional. Meaning, there are gay people in real life, and I guess the artist is just trying to express more drama. I can accept that.
But if it's 10 pages of crazy gay sex, then that's a little excessive.

Well, I was refering to specific kinds of shonen-ai. but the bottom line is that its drawn by women for women, and i think most of them are straight. How is it supposed to be psuedeo straight if its two guys? because one or two of those "guys" look like girls. I have fliped through an entire shonen ai book before WITHOUT realising that it was two guys, I had to be told and look again carefully to notice that the receiver actually had a penis (boy did I feel dirty afterwards X.X, gah gross). All in all this is a really weird fetish.
As for the dickgirls, again its made by hetro males for hetro males. Its for guys who don't wanna look at some dudes ass (homophobic hetrosexual guys?) but still want to see a penis going in a vagina (hetrosexual sex), so they put the penis on a woman instead and "solve the problem" so to speak.
