that Cartoon Network is going to show Shrek? It airs on TBS all the time. I just don't understand the big deal I guess.

What is such a big deal about it? Is it because of the occasional language suitable for PG but not G rated movies? Pfft!... I remember back when they wouldn't be afraid to show movies with characters that cussed like sailors on normal CN. The way I see it, they've been trying to become more kid friendly. Probably some over-protective parent called in and complained about the language in "Iron Giant" or caught their kid watching Adult Swim and didn't know what Adult Swim was. Seriously, CN is a perfect example of how the world has already started to go to Hell...

... Or am I completely off the mark and it has nothing to do with the "PG-but-not-G" content of Shrek?

What I'd like to know is why they are showing live-action movies on CARTOON Network?! Come on, they seriously can't find ANY old or new animations at all that they have to do THAT?! I actually remember JOKING about them doing that one day. And it happened. Yeesh.

The Cartoon Network is bad now? You should have seen it here a few years ago: The ONLY good show it had then was Dexter's Lab. Apart from that it had endless repeats of bloody Cow and Chicken and this really stupid REJECT excuse for a POS anime with the WORST dubbing ever. It was called "ninja Robots" or something... Some crappy Voltron knock-off, except the robots just stayed as cats. The voices were HORRIBLE, they were all done by two people and were basically different variations of campy gayness from screaming queen to screaming queen's quiet boyfriend. Seriously. -_-

Actually that was prolly 10 years ago... lol!

Cow & Chicken's not so bad, but its just a pale imitation of Ren & Stimpy.

Cow and Chick is barely tolerable normally, not so when repeated a million times though. And I HATE cow.
I did sort of like I AM WEASEL though... Mainly because Michael Dorn does such a good job with the voice.

Nope! I did a quick Google search and got right on to it! I was actually called "ninja Robots" (on Cartoon Network in Australia that is), Wikipedia tells all [en.wikipedia.org]...

It sucked harder than that prostitute in the movie Barfly with Mickey Rouke. :(

I had a whole rant ready for you guys, and just when I opened a tab to the Cartoon Network site to check if I got all the names correct, it made my internet freeze.

That my friends, shows how much Cartoon Network sucks.

I have to agree to some extent. Whoever does the programing bite big time.
But I do like Naruto and Teen Titans.

Adult Swim is good with Robot Chicken and Family Guy repeats and Futurama.
