DrunkDuck is open to everyone. There are exceptions but we generally do not screen people and their comics to see if they're "good enough." For many, this is what makes DD such a great service. Besides, who would make that judgement? One person's crap is another person's gold.

On a semi-related note, judging from PoisonedV's comments, I hope this isn't about what I think it is. :S Remember that if you have personal issues with someone, you take it to private message or e-mails.

It's not personal it's just that I hate all sprite comics (I'm gonna' stop calling my comic a sprite comic because that's not really what it is, it's really along the lines of Pixel Art.)

The sprite comic discussion is a nothing new now, Some suck, some don't. Some just make you wonder what the hell that author was on. Everything has been pointed out, everything has been discussed. Everything has everything.

The Clock Crew logo taken from Newgrounds.The Clock Crew is a large themed Flash animation community on the Internet. It began in 2001, and is estimated to have nearly 2,000 members. Currently they have no official leader or proper organization structure. They make hundreds of Flash movies every year and have a holiday known as Clock Day (August 15) that is officially recognized by Newgrounds. The holiday honors the first submission by Strawberry Clock, B which was submitted in 2001. These flash movies generally cast inanimate objects with clocks on them that speak in computer generated voices.

Although Strawberry Clock is the unofficial leader of the group, the user who created him, Strawberryclock (a.k.a. Coolboymanor or Adam Robert Vierra), never assumed the role of leading the ClockCrew. His goal was to submit poor quality flash to the website to cause trouble. Eventually, Coolboyman/StrawberryClock/Adam abandoned the Clock Crew, out of annoyance. In flash movies, StrawberryClock is usually portrayed as naive, spoiled, and child-like, while the rest of the Crew worships and adulates him (at least in the movies). This portrayal is generally disliked by members of the Clock Crew.

The Clock Crew website is the hub of the Clock Crew. The clocks get together to chat, get help with Flash, share ideas, and collaborate on projects. The site itself has its own wiki-based encyclopedia to chronicle in vast detail the exploits and origins of the Clock Crew, called Clockopedia .

When a new member signs up on the ClockCrew BBS they must "lurk" the forums for a week before posting. They are then put in a group known as "clockfriends". Here they must prove their ability to do flash before becoming an official clock. One reason for this is, in general, a misunderstanding of StrawberryClock, in that StrawberryClock as he is portrayed in Clock movies is almost completely different from the person who was actually behind the StrawberryClock account.

OK ill make 15 comics before I release it.

:) well put KC3T LV yet for some they work.. shruggs..i undertand time and art facters.. a few people who e-mail me a sprite is there first baby step to trying to make a comic..and its a good first step.. they are working on story and diolog..

the deal is dont give up on art ...comics are not always wow art.. ok..

testimonal :roll: basicly i sucked once but got a little better..so now only sort of suck...does sort of have a point...

my art keeps evolving..when i look at my first comics i shudder..lots of folks tell me my art sucks. but i have yet to kill a comic over it... my first strips the art was very ruff and fast.. it did suck...but i keep working on it and it is getting better..as is my story telling..the only way your art can get better is if you draw and draw and draw....i think i can draw my guys in my sleep sometimes.. i have done them so many times.. so don't just give up and say "i can't draw so. here look at this" ...heck stick figures.. and circles are out there having nice comic lives.. :wink:
