I would think Saturno had more of a childish voice, like jubilee from the old X-men cartoon only pitched a little lower. Every other character from DE sounds like me in my head.

This seems like fun!

Ally - She's a normal teenager, so she can be pretty whiny. If anyone's ever seen any movies with Winona Ryder from the 80s, early-90s, like "Mermaids" or "Heathers", I'd say that's pretty close to Ally.

Andersen - Andersen doesn't really stand out much, so any normal-ish sounding guy voice, not too deep but not too high. I suppose if I had to pick a voice actor... Bill Hader, aka Flint Lockwood in "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs"

Nutella - I never thought too much about Nutella's voice. If I had to pick right now I'd pick Cree Summer, since I designed Nutty after my ideal woman and I loooooove Cree Summer's voice.

Clio - Michaela Conlin, aka Angela from "Bones". That girly yet soothing quality is very Clio.

Sabrina - Really high-pitched and girly, with an almost squeaky or nasally quality. The best example I can think of is Clash from "Jem". Anyone remember that show?

Oh man, I feel dorky when I talk about this but it's so much fun. I've talked with my co-writer quite a few times about this.

Zinc: I always imagined him sounding like Dennis Leary.
Laguna: I think Rick (the co-writer) said Scott Mosier, but I could be mixing around names. Whoever's the monotone/tired sounding one on Smodcast.
Lee Cruor: James from Team Rocket.
Qubert: I actually made an animation project once and got my school psychologist to voice him because he sounded so dead on: http://zibaricon.org/animation/therapy/therapy.php [zibaricon.org]

Mindmistress sounds like Jodie Foster. Lorelei, her alter ego, sounds a bit like Sissy Spacek in COAL MINER'S DAUGHTER. ---Al
Al Schroeder of MINDMISTRESS http://mindmistress.comicgenesis.com ---think the superhero genre is mined out?

Think there are no new superhero ideas?

Think again.

Well, this is an autobiographical comic I do.

So I sound like the batman.
Read this comic. It is the greatest journal comic ever written and drawn. Trust me.

I...have no idea. o_o Maybe it's just me, but I have a hard time imagining what some of my characters would actually sound like. I do know this, though: they'd all be speaking German (which, unfortunately, I don't). So there's that.

Edit: Now that I think about it, I remember a reader commenting that Mephistopheles would sound like a male Ursula (but deeper), with a little bit of Palpatine, which I thought was perfect. Mephisto is very smooth and suave, yet can be sinister at the same time.

I only usually hear my own voice when I write, but my comic is currently having a little comedy animated short done of it and it has voice actors doing my two main characters.

So now Daqueran and Iada both have real voices I can imagine when I write for them. I got to pick them of course.
I'm eagerly awaiting it's completion.

Kimasu- typical early teen boy voice, I guess. Cracks some times.

Melau- Slightly deep for a girl, hint of a southern accent.

Mao- Quiet and feminine.

I dunno about my other characters since I have too many of them. XD

since I'm a bit of a voice acting enthusiast myself the majority of the characters I create I make u a voice for that is a variation of my own voice in some way or form. Though for the girls it tends to be some girl I know that fits the characteristics of the character. I'd hate to try to put other actors voices to my characters it wouldn't make them the characters anymore they'd be the actors.
if I was a teapot I think I'd be orange.

If they did an animated version of 'The Dragon Fists of Smorty Smythe'
The voices would be like this...

Smorty: Soft-spoken but strong-toned with an Asian accent. Like David Carradine or Jet Li he could sound gentle or fierce when needed.

Veri Gumpshoss: Sweet-toned but not ditzy sounding. Intelligent and cheerful.
Maybe a Reese Witherspoon type.

Notso Gumpshoss: Either Jason Alexander or Danny DeVito; boisterous, loud and Know-it-allish.

Rob McDuffer: Slow and heavy like a dim-witted Napoleon Dynamite.

Phyllis Rutbeerinstein: Sultry and sarcastic. Maybe like Angelina Jolie.

:)

Voices, voices... hmm... it'd be hard to describe the voices for characters in Magiversity, so instead I'll list voiceover artists with the characters instead.

Minna Galford- Sasha Paysinger (shy and quiet normally, but can be loud in battle)

Keina Galford- Tiffany Grant (Normally calm and levelheaded, but can be very loud when ticked off)

Aiya Desconde- Jessica Boon (Always seems happy, but can cry a lot and can be unpredictable when angry)

Atashi- Jason Douglas (calm, cool, levelheaded, not easy to get a rise out of him)

Wyndegarde "Sureshot" Ironkeel- Nancy Novotny (confident, but not arrogant)

Firilis Blade- Cynthia Martinez (happy and encouraging, but very excited in battle)

Headmistress Katrinity- Wendee Lee (always mysterious, and pretty hard to guage her emotions just from the sound of her voice which is almost always low and hushed as if she's hiding something)

Arcus- Spike Lee (Speaks as though everyone was very VERY below him... except when he speaks to Katrinity or anyone he knows is more powerful than he is, speaks to Minna and all other people he percieves as commoners as if they were LESS than human)

Ugh... that's the best I can do right now...

Wow, I don't actually know what some of my characters would sound like.

I know Palma sounds like Harley Quinn, or maybe the secretary from Ghostbusters.

Go sounds like a stereotypical anime protagonist, maybe leaning toward Eric Vale a bit.

Captain Martello sounds a bit like Raul Julia's M.Bison from the Street Fighter movie if he were a woman.

I have no clue what McCoy sounds like, and Guy doesn't talk.
