Damn! I figured this would happen.

I'm so bad with paint programs though... I'm terrible with fonts and word bubbles, et cetera, et cetera... I absolutely cannot color, either.

Thank you for addressing this, Tater Salad. I was very afraid of this possibility, so I need to either gear up and take extra time with a paint program or start at least inking the text.

More feedback! I was already told that ink and color would help, and I could probably do inking without coming forth with a butchered result. Coloring I know will end badly, so... Maybe just inking!

Your style is def', I enjoy it! Also, I think your comic is like Trigun only in the aspect that it is slightly western in technique, but there's no real connection. Although, my reason for watching Trigun was for Nicholas D. Wolfwood, bad-ass chain-smoking priest that carried a cross. Cross actually was a rocket launcher and machine gun, fitted with pistols that he could use individually, etc.

But I digress, your comic is def', and even if I am a fan of sprite comics on the occassion, I prefer hand-drawn. Sorry 'bout my comic being hard to read and so ill-defined, though. I just need to take more time with it, but personally, I was so excited after I found this site that I just wanted to put it up right away, even before learning basic steps to creating a proper damn comic.

By the by, I got a kick out of actually seein' Hizke covered with blood. Also, how did you clean the comic up?! And darken the lines? Are these options available in Photoshop, 'cause I'm willing to buckle down and get my shit straight right-quick.

Ha, ha... Dig that comic! You're such a trip. Anyhow! I found the level adjustment, and now I just gotta' get the hang of coloring. Do you color on different layers? I jus' wanna' know the basis you use for coloring and all and see where I can go from there. You're a great help!

I'm using photoshop and tooling around with the levels. I can't seem to make it white enough in the background without making the lines too light or too dark, etc. Getting there! Then again, I might actually have to get off my ass and work. Ha, ha... Damn!

So, yeah! I'll have to play around with colors and layering. Who knew I'd be learning simple techniques to clean up and color a comic so easily!

Whew, and am I thankful. I'm thinking about trying to apply some basic coloring and such to a comic tonight if I can get around to it, etc. Just showing me how to mess around with the levels has helped a lot, getting the background whiter without me having to brush shit away meticulously.

Ha, ha. I smudge a lot, and I also need to switch over to gif format. I completely forgot when I scanned my new post. I also need to clean up dirty lines and put more work into everything in general. Adjusting levels has saved my life!

Drawing women is a talent I've acquired over years of ... Well, that's for another day. And it looks like I lied about updating with a finished comic! Motha'-fuckin' snakes on a motha'-fuckin' plane 'n' shit, y0.

And I'm sure you couldn't be bad at drawing women! I just give 'em gazongas and some hips. Instant woman!

In fact, many of my characters are borderline androgynous with the exception of body. Being that there is so little attention to detail in my work, if all my female characters were flat-chested, there'd probably be no way to distinguish them from my male characters. Unless I gave them eyelashes. I'unno. The faces are too plain, and I have a lot of improving to do!
