It's the 8 page I got printed in Midnight Ink a few years ago.It's undergone a name change and format change(I'm trying to redo it as a novel now)but this is the only thing I've ever had published,and given how little money I make it's also the last thing I'll get published.Artists are so expensive.
The gist of it is this.The world has Superheroes and magic.The big name heroes with the fancy outfits and all the toys?They work for the I.B.P.C or International Bureau of Preternatural Crime.They are funded by the public who snatch up their clothes,albums,toys etc... so they answer to no government or big buisness interest. Below them are the Free Companies.Groups of people who sell their special skills and abilities to the highest bidder and handle the more morally questionable things in the world.The Whipjacks are one of these Free Companies and this 8 page is the backstory for one of the members.
