Which Graphics Tablet is the best?

I'm currently in the market for a Graphic Tablet. Unfortunately, I have no earthly idea what I'm doing. What does one look for when shopping for a tablet?

It seems we're in the same boat.
From what I've learned, tablets can be an excellent tool for those who wish to have a slightly easier time with transferring work from one medium to the next, and also mish mashing affects.
Intuos seems to be the main producer of these products, and their items range in price and effectiveness, it sucks because tablets aren't really one of those thigns you get much use with at all, so like you, I have no idea as to if I even need or want one.
Check intuos, check Craigslist, and if you're desperate, Ebay (not what it used to be), cnet, epinions, and newegg might also have some reviews that might help.
