Anything specific? I have pretty much every sprite source in my favs. So again, anything you need specifically?

Any 8 bit sprites.
I know of a place with good 8-Bit mario sprites.
Here.
Metroid 8-bit sprites can be found, just click on the four red squares under metroid, they basicly are the best you can find.

Here's my secret recipe for delicious homemade 8-bit sprites:
INGREDIENTS
1 fully functional PC
1 video game emulator
1 video game ROM containing desired sprites
1 drawing program (such as Paint)
Whatever food you like to eat
DIRECTIONS
So you've already got the PC on, the emulator fired up and the drawing program opened. Good. Now play your game a bit and watch closely at the 8-bit graphics. When you think you see a sprite (in a position) you want, hit the Print Scrn key. Now go to the drawing program and press Shift+V. When the image appears, magnify it at a suitable size and watch the sprite closely as you copy the image on a blank drawing program (with a greatly magnified screen), pixel by individual pixel. And finally, enlarge the tiny copied image to whatever size you want, and VOILA! You've created your very own sprite! But then again, according to copyright laws, it's not quite yours after all. Oh well.
Oh, and as for the food you got with you...well...are you going to eat that?
