I'm starting this discussion based on a PQ conversation I had with marine of penis (I need to link his comic).
I'm sure people look at your art or storytelling and right away say, "Hey, your stuff reminds me of...Peanuts". Or...er...something like that.
So let's hear from you comicmongers! Who do people say your webcomic reminds you of...(a comic in print, an particular artist, anime/manga on TV, perhaps a uh...TV show...or even of SOMEONE ELSE'S work here on DD - Lord forbid).
Who's first???

I haven't gotten any comments in that nature, but i'd like to think my comic is a hybrid of Twilight Key and Heroes-Inc. :P

With "Marital Bliss???" We get "sitcomish" and like "Love Is" only without creepy naked cupie dolls, occassionally.

I've not gotten any comparisons as far as my art. I've heard/read a few remarks about my style being "unique" with or without the statement "in a good way," so I choose to take it as a compliment rather than the alternative connotations. For story, some of stuff reminds people of one mystery writer or another, which makes sense because that's some of my biggest inspiration.

I've had my comic compared to The Tick somewhat frequently. Super hero parody. Super hero parody. I even kind of do my bit to agree with that comparision and keep it going since I really love The Tick comics. I've also been compared to another comic ... a web comic which supposedly doesn't exist anymore. Super Duper Dude or something like that. I've not been able to find it on any search engines, but the person who told me about it said I wouldn't.
Artistically, an editor at DC compared my stuff, LOOSELY mind you, to Mike Wieringo. I'm not sure I see that myself. But you know, I sometimes have trouble analyzing my own art because I still see what's in my head (what I intended to draw) and that distorts what I see on the actual page.
But in the past 5 or 6 years I think I've really stripped my work down, rebuilt it back up and found a style I feel comfortable with that's certainly my own. And not really derivative of anyone else.

I get a lot of comparison to the manga/anime 'Bleach' and 'Naruto', and the 'Final Fantasy' series of games. Somebody made me happy one time by saying it reminded them of 'Runaways', which is one of my fave comics ever. One time I was compared to something I've never heard of called 'Witch'. Oh, and sometimes because it's got magic and British accents, I get the odd 'Harry Potter' comparison.
And I'm sure, like aaaalll the manga artists here, I've been compared to Pokemon at least once.

20 Galaxies - there's been a lot mentioned. Sailor Moon, Captain Planet, WITCH, Harry Potter - it seems to remind everyone of something different. My friends like to say that the Lraenu are relatives of Marshie from Homestar Runner XD
Lady Luck - Only comparison I've heard so far is to Neil Gaiman's "Sandman," which I've heard about but I'm not familiar with.

The works of Masumune Shirrow and also Mobius I think...
Heh, it's very flattering, but a big, big mismatch in that their work blows mine out of the water and then vaporises that water and then atomises that steam...

I get compared to Battle Royale a lot, and it drives me crazy. The beginning sounds vaguely similar, but really, once the story starts picking up, there are very few similarities.
I also get Naruto a lot (uggh), and I've had a few people compare PT to Inverloch, art style-wise, which I guess I can see, but I think Inverloch's art is better. =p

I get compared to the Aqua Teen Hunger Force and South Park the most. Occasionally someone says its like Family Guy. Someone compared me to the boondocks for my use of Big Angry Black Guy, but I can't really see that.
artistically I get compared to blind retarded kids most often.

I've heard from a few people that either my comic reminds them of a childrens book, or that they think I should try and publish it as a childrens book.
I'm okay with both suggestions. Though I'm not sure about trying to get it published. I may in the long run get a few printed up at lulu or something and gift it to friends who have children, and friends who are big children.

Family Guy mostly, which is probably because of the amount of cut-aways I use. I don't try to be like anyone, and I really don't like being compared to other people's work, so I find it either insulting or silly when people go "hey, this is like Family Guy". I also got compared to some cartoon called Bonus Stage.

My comic has also been compared to White Wolf's Vampire: The Masquerade, Vampire Knight, and almost anything with vampires in it. >_>

Hmmm...
Most folks say that my comic reminds them of an old black-and-white noir movie. Then, there are a few who say it reminds them of the old Republic Serials...which I find quite flattering!)
One of my sources of inspiration is Mike Mignola's Hellboy...and I've had very few people make any comparison between the two....which is probably a good thing.

I've had people compare Frank Baron, NSO and/or Rent-A-Thug to Sin City. Maybe it's because it's black and white, I dunno.
I've also been compared to Tony Millionaire, artisically (when I actually draw humans with all of their limbs). I know the name but haven't the foggiest idea what his stuff looks like, mostly because I'm too lazy to look it up.

Sin City I'm sure. because I've basically outright stolen Frank Miller's style, Dumbed down 100 fold mind you. Maybe after a while it will evolve into something more original. I guess I love Sin City a little to much.

People usually say 'I'd recognise your style among a thousand different others' which always rocks my boat ;) hehe.
Also the story has been compared to several movies from 'Outbreak' (O.o it's not a race to find a cure... per se) to 'Conspiracy Theory' which always gets a 'yay'! from me :)

Someone once, quite a while ago, said my artwork was similar to Adam Warren's... I didn't know who he was so I searched him and while I see skill in his style it's TOTALLY not to my taste. XD I was a bit "TT__TT" about it even though I couldn't actually see the similarity myself... XD
My stuff has been compared to Paradise Kiss a couple of times which is a bit more of a favourable comparison in my eyes. ;3
Generally people say my style is rather different from what they've seen before which is nice. :D I haven't really had anyone say my storytelling reminds me of anyone (which I'm just going to assume means it's unique! Yay!). XD
