Basically, with this technology, the slight tilt of my head would actually enhance my ability to see, instead of just making me look like a doofus.

Except that this guy is proposing a different function altogether. He's talking about matching the in game perspective to your real world perspective. In order for your slight head movement to make any noticeable change in your perspective, you're already abandoning this idea of creating a virtual window for just a gimmicky alternative to some other motion that can be done just as easily (if not easier) with the wii remote or nunchuck.

Well, to avoid going in circles (since I know you never really listen to anyone anyway), I'll just say that I believe this technology has merits, and if you go into it expecting grand things you're going to be sorely disappointed. In this case, the value comes in little changes that help the feeling of immersion, rather than changes to existing gameplay mechanics. If you can't see that from it, then... well, I don't really care at this point. You can keep deriding proposed technology 'till your fingers bleed if that's what makes you happy. Either way, I've said what I feel about it, and to go on would just be repeating myself.

I met this guy at work last week. It turns out he's got more under his sleeve than the Wii VR headset. He's pretty danged clever. Go check out some of his other projects:

Yeah, but the real question burning in everyone's loins is: Is he still a virgin? ;)

...

What?

No one's asking that. We all know already.

Contrary to high school stereotyping, I am willing to bet that he is NOT!
