If you could get published by any comic book company which would it be and why?

Platinum studios.
Just because people are so mean about them. I could tell people I was published by Platinum and watch their tongues and eyes jut out and the veins throb in their red faces as they go apoplectic with rage telling me how crazy stupid I am. The pleasure I'd get from that would be beyond price. ^___^

Sirius. Or Oni. I grew up readin' that stuff, and it'd be cool to come full circle like that. :)

Oni is pretty awesome.
I'd like to be published by Top Shelf because they've put out some really cool stuff over the years. The absolute most I think can expect is getting a book published by a really small press publisher like Tugboat or Sparkplug, (both of which are also awesome.) Realistically I don't think I can get a book published unless I publish it myself.

PIXAR.
I know they aren't a comic publisher, but I'd rather see my comic produced as an awesome animated feature rather than just have a publisher do something that technically I could do myself with the right amount of money.
Wow, that is an awful run on sentence I just produced.

Image. Because I love their comics, and it'd be a great honor to be published by them.

To be a part of First Comics during the early 80's would have been awesome.....and Marvel anywhere from 1961 to 1975.

Somebody who would give me a dump truck full of money for doing exactly what I'm doing right now.
And, you know, since I'm already in Fantasyland, I'd like this company to send me strawberry milkshakes served off the backs of Brazilian supermodels. They'll also make it so that I can attend the Super Bowl on the moon. I will watch the game while seated in a gold plated hot tub filled with champagne and rubies. The halftime show will be Leonard Bernstein conducting the London Symphony of Kickass.

Archaia, before they were bought and stopped being strictly creator owned... cause they were open for odd projects AND collected everything in hardcovers :D
...I looooove hardcovers.
Top Shelf, because they try to keep everything in print (or as much of it as possible) even if its hardcover editions (unlike, say, IDW who usually just do the initial HC and once it's sold out, it's sold out :P )
Image, cause it's all creator owned...
having said these... archaia is no longer creator owned, top shelf appears to be backed up with future releases for at least a year or two (plus my projects might not be "alternative" enough for them) and Image focuses on standard comics formats and while they do graphic novels, no one's really getting rich on those yet... plus, I don't think I'm "mainstream" enough for them (not to mention the quality of my art).

So answer #4: my own :D

BOOM! Studios, since a lot of the things they publish are in the same veins as most of the stuff I write.
Post your concerns about the preview page! Support raw html! http://getsatisfaction.com/drunkduck/topics
