As much as we all love video games we all know there are an awful lot of bad lines and horrid voice actors so I'm wondering...What's The Worst Line Of Dialog You've Heard/Seen In A Video Game?

It can be the way it's said
eg. The way Dante says "I should have been the one to fill your dark soul with liiiiight!" as if his balls dropped half way though in Devil May Cry

Or the actual line for bad grammar
eg. "all your base are belong to us"

or the inappropriate situation it was said
eg. When Barry says "That was too close. You were almost a Jill sandwich!" when Jill was almost CRUSHED TO DEATH in Resident Evil

Any line from any game, it dose NOT have to be spoke, it could be text only :-D

Navi from Ocarina from Time. All lines. Especially, HEY LISTEN! HEY! HEY! OOH!

Pretty much every line Deadra had in Zeno Clash. Not because it was badly written, but because the voice acting was so bad. Hers was the most grating out of all of them, and it's the reason I've been putting off completing it, which is a pity because it's awesome apart from that.

He was supposed to be annoying, but that doesn't really help much. He kind of reminded me of Mud from Gothic, except you could kill Mud and then feel bad about it because Mud was actually sympathetic.

I played Prototype recently. There's a sequence near the end where you're chasing someone hiding in a tank who continually stops with other heavily armed vehicles to kill you before running off again and again. All the while, the main character is doing a full bore Christian Bale impression and screaming with a straight face that his target is a 'suicidal moron'. Just struck me as corny sounding.

When you beat Super Mario Galaxy, Mario looks up and says "Welcome new galaxy!"

It just seems cheesy and out of place to me. Not sure why, it just seems lame. Not that any of the ending wasn't lame.

Any line spoken by Welch in Star Ocean 4. You could combine Navi and the voiceover guy from Crazy Taxi and the result still wouldn't be half as annoying.

Also the line "Be garbage of cesspool ha ha ha" from Splatterhouse: Wanpaku no Graffiti is pretty damn terrible, but at least it's funny.

Anyone who's played Gears of War 2 knows some.

Whenever anybody says the word "taste" in Soulcalibur III. An example:

Nightmare: "Have a taste of my darkness!"

I was gonna say that same line for Devil May Cry that the original thread poster wrote. What about in Onimusha that big red demon that says: "I haven't had human in a while and I'm pretty hungry HAR HAR HAR!"

Capcom is the king of bad dialogue you can find a terrible terrible line in every one of their games.

Resident Evil 4: "Where'd everybody go?... Bingo night?"

Street Fighter 4: "It's super dynamic cooking time!"

From the aforementioned Resident Evil (the original PS1 release): Just about any line in the beginning of the game. The one that sticks out in my mind:
Barry-"What? What IS this?"
Jill-"What is it?"
Barry-"It's BLOOD. I hope this isn't Chris's blood..."
(of course, it was mostly the WAY it was said...comedy gold!)

Also, one that especially sticks out in my mind at the moment was from Mass Effect. It happened on Noveria, after the first "interview" with Anoleis (or however his name's spelled).
Secretary (paraphrased)- "you can't bludgeon your way through these precedings"
Shepherd-"I can bludgeon pretty hard!"
It's actually only funny if the player character is male, due to the hilarious way the vocal actor said it.

those are the ones that are sticking out in the ol' brain box right now...maybe I'll think of some more later.

And who the heck did the lines for Claude in the PSP version of Star Ocean 2? Some of them sounded kinda... whiney.

I have to wonder who directed the voice work for the localization. It sounds like they used some pretty crappy recording equipment and had the voice actors yelling into the mic. It sounded a lot better in Japanese.

I myself have spotted my fair share of awkward and silly dialogs from various games but there's nothing that sticks out in my mind at the moment. At least nothing that hasn't been covered already (Like resident evil and Ocarina of Time).

I need this game to live. It's a masterpiece in it's crappiness.

Anyway, this thread reminds me of the time one of my friends played Der Langrisser and finished it. He said one of the endings was like that famous Star Wars scene with "I am your father..." and "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!".

Luigi is hilarious and that line is one of the many reasons why.

Also I think the B button turned on and off his torch.
