So I have this school in a comic I'm planing. The town is Generic, USA. The High school, therefore, is Generic High School. The question I have is: What should the mascot be? It needs to SOUND like a good mascot. Most people say the planes(plains) but that needs an adjective. Any Ideas?

The comic isn't going to be boring, I just chose a town name that let's me do things like "Meanwhile at the Generic City Park..."
The Plain Janes have been suggested to me, but that sounds more like a girls soccor team.

A little social commentary on the recent rash of the renaming of School teams?
The Generic High School Native American. Have a modern native American gentleman in a baseball cap, tee-shirt and jeans.
Then there's always George Carlin: The Mice, let's all cheer for the Pink and white, The Victims! The Generic Victims!
Let's all cheer for the Victims!
Or just go with Generic and take it to the extreme and call it SPORTS TEAM. The Generic Sports Team. (That'a like Repo Man's generic products BEER, DRINK and FOOD)

PREDATOR would be a generic mascot. I think most mascots are predators.
And the Fighting Generic Predators sounds pretty ferocious to me. I wouldn't want to go up against them in a game of generic ball. Especially if I was playing for the Specific Herbivores.

Do only Catholic schools have Saints as mascots?
Best mascot is the University of South Carolina Gamecocks because then you get to yell "Go Cocks!" at the games. :)
