Thoughout my life, depending on "where" I am---different songs appeal to me...But, there are a few that just scream my personality...

Ethan (my man) says, "Killer Queen" is the song that most embodies me.
My mom says, "Whisky Girl."
Dad says, "Bad to the Bone."

I say, "Bad Reputation" and "Countin' Flowers On The Wall."

What about you guys? Is there one or two songs out there that are just you to a "T"?

(Please don't say I'm too sexy.)

I think The Beatles "I Am the Walrus" typifies my personality the most.
...Or maybe not.

That's the one!

Also: "You can't fool the Children of the Revolution", (by T-Rex, none of these sucky cover versions) because I'm a great big hypocrite.

Well I'm going to change mine to "20th Century Boy" by T-Rex... It's a like a combination of "I'm too sexy" and "Children of the Revolution" for horny, self obsessed, bigheadedness.

Chainsaw Gutfuck by Mayhem personifies me.

Really though, I can't be summed up in one song. But if I have to choose, I am the Walrus.

Cool thread idea. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't intrigued.

There's several songs that I would say capture my personality. In fact, I've compiled some of them into a playlist on iTunes. But the whole list will have to wait for another day. For now...

Incubus - Pardon Me
Wide Mouth Mason - My Old Self
Big Wreck - The Oaf (My Luck Is Wasted)
Age of Electric - Remote Control

That's me yo.

I think saying you, as a complex, emotional, individual human being can be summed up by an artistic expression such as a song, is entirely bizarre. Songs are meant to express the writer/composer's thoughts and emotions, and while the listener can often relate to subject matter dealt with through song, they aren't there for people to say "I AM THIS SONG! THIS SONG IS EVERYTHING I AM!" So in conclusion, I think this is kind of a strange thing to say.

Also, "Crazy Train". :p

Pixies is a favorite of Ethan's. I bet you would enjoy his MySpace Playlist (like as background noise if you are lookin' for some.)

Our friends are always telling us they listen to our playlists...I love the internet!

Interesting question. A long time ago a fellow blogger chose songs for all of her friends. For me she chose Sadeness by Enigma. I didn't really agree with her at the time, but 6 years later, I get it.

Personally, I'd probably go with Tangled Up In Blue by Bob Dylan. Or more likely Now, Diabolical by Satyricon. >:)

If I had to pick an "AL" song, it would totally be "White and Nerdy," Although, I've always been one of those people that hide my geekery really well, in real life...I remember the first time Ethan saw my "Stuff" he was shocked. (I told him to face it, Tiger...he hit the jackpot!) Yeah, I'm that "dorky."

(Although the only question I ever thought was hard "is" should I throw Janeway into the mix; although Picard is by far the epitome of Starfleet and who doesn't like Kirk...I have a fondness for Kate!)

I was bored and figured some of you may dig it.

I took all the songs you guys answered (at least the ones I could find.) and made them into a playlist. So, if you are bored...and are lookin' for some background music, give it a whirl.

This will take you there.
