Average pageviews per day: 33

Used to be 34 so I'm going backwards :(
Still it's cool to know that every day someone checks out my comic... or one person that checks it 33 times in one day :)

Average is 56, and my total is 1240, my biggest single day is 170. Not great, but it's more than I expected, and it tells me I must be doing something right at least.

Does it count your own visits, like when you go to reply to a comment or something? I ask because the alerter tells you when you comment on your own comic.

I bought a $15 one day ad-slot on Aeire's new comic Punch an' Pie, and I just passed 21,000 views. Today. Before 4pm.

I'm afraid of all these new people looking at my comic! What if they hate it? :'(

"Tales of the Revenant" averages around 160 a day, with update days routinely shooting up over 300, and weekdays that can drop down to 80.
I play around with Project Wonderful once a month bidding on ad spaces. I placed a $5 a day ad on Comicspace and managed to pull about 300 to 500 pageviews a day from that.
I enjoy playing with advertising, but probably the most consistantly effective advertising is networking, posting on forums and getting to know people.

Hahaha. Ads are my special treat for special occasions (when I get given money). ^_^ I can actually give a pretty good assessment of which sites to advertise on for a range of budgets and how they worked for me, if anyone wants to know. ;)

Actually, the most economical was BuzzComix. Slots are $1 each, though you have to buy at least 5. I put $3 worth on one day and got 8,000 views! Excellent value. :D

If you have the money, ads are a great idea. I know a lot of really good comics that aren't getting a lot of views simply because people just don't see them.

Unfortunately I sort of broke my pageview graph. :P I've got all these smaller numbers, and then suddenly a MASSIVE 34,000 BAR, and then back down to (increased, but still) smaller numbers. So now the majority of the days' bars are so small that there's barely a difference between 1,000 and 2,000. It's brooooken.

I've gotten ads on bcx too-- it is quite economical!! and really pumps up the pageviews! but I'd be interested in what your other suggestions are!!

Narou was getting up to 600 hits on days I updated, but my updates have become very sporadic ever since I got promoted at work.
My last three updates never broke 300, but oddly enough the number of favs has gone up to nearly 100 recently..
Im updating again later tonight, so I'll see how this one compares.

My other comic Oni No Noroi never even reaches 200 anymore...
I take that back.. It did once in March when it was over 300 for that one update I did that month. The last update a week or so ago only got to 190.
(And some rude person dumped a 3 with no comment on it. When I asked them why because I cant stand low ratings with no explaination, they said they dont even remember it and never read it. aaarrgghh >.< )

The other two arent worth mentioning ^^;

my biggest day was 370..but i'm lucky to break 100.
A lot of that is my fault, I don't advertise much.

well, your comic *is* new... although it's pretty fun so far!!! I like it!!!
if you want my advice though, you'll get a lot more pv's if you post a lot in the forums and have a banner with a link to your comic.

Tarung Jakarta has 43 in average, with daily number above 50 each day after I got serious in the forums.

Not bad for a comic which just started page four (so far)

Courage Chronicles is still being read by people...not bad for a comic currently on hiatus :D

According to my stats I'm getting an average of 143 pageviews per day. Still don't get that many comments though.

Bomb Shrapnel has an average of 27 views a day (T_T) but a total of 7,730.

My civil war event comic (Bias of Blue) averages 62 a day and 1730 in total.

We're getting way more hits here at Drunk Duck than we did when we were just workin' out of MySpace, so everything is gravy in my opinion. No where near some of you guys. It is superhappyfuntime if we break 100 a day. We range from 0-180ish---but recently broke 500! YAY! If only they would leave comments.
