I mostly buy trade paper backs, but lately I've been getting Hero By Night, The Mighty Avengers, and Ward of the State monthly.

Runaways (My only real MUST READ monthly title. I hope Whedon can live up to Vaughan though, I love BKV's writing.)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (The new one by Whedon that continues where the series left off, it's had two issues so far and is quite entertaining.)
Ultimate Spider-man (Can be quite hit/miss, I like it, but I don't see what all the fuss is about with Bendis' writing. He's good, but not amazing. Also, the artist makes ALL women look identical, which is confusing. Still, it's fun to read.)
Ultimate X-men (though recently something happened that was SO stupid I almost dropped this one then and there. I'm going to see if it gets less dumb this month)
I'll read trades for Excalibur, X-men and she-Hulk, and 'Y the Last Man' if I see them, have money and think they look interesting. I tried the 'Runaways' spinoff 'The Loners' last month, but I doubt I'll buy issue 2, it wasn't that great -_-' At the moment, I'm really just stepping into the world of American comics, and my local comic book shop is relatively small, so I don't have infinite choice on what I read.

Darth, you know if you find something you think looks interesting online your local comic store will get it for you. I don't know of any comic book stores that won't get comic for people if they ask. That's how they make the majority of their money.
Also I too read Runaways, in the cheapo digest format. I really liked Adrian Alphona's art. Unfortunately I think the artist just changed and I'm not really digging the new artist.

Ryan is okay...But he's no Alphona, I definitely agree. Yeah, from a structural, anatomical point of view, he's probably a technically better draftsman, BUT Alphona has STYLE. His fashion sense is incredibly sharp, and his work has such beautiful flow to it. He doesn't draw like a superhero artist, and this really works well because costumed characters in the world of Runaways look slightly ridiculous in Alphona's style, fitting the way the kids mock them perfectly.
...I wish I knew what Alphona has moved on to after Runaways. I'll have to have a look.
Ooh. I can ask for things? I'd never thought of doing that! I guess I can subscribe too. I should try this...

Yeah, I always think it's kind of funny how Wolverine drawn by Alphona looks like some really shady guy in an eccentric suit who forgot to shave. And Captain America just looks ready for mocking.
You should definitely ask your local comic store for stuff. People requesting titles is the only reason that indie comics ever sell, because comic shops usually don't stock them.

Everything Marvel puts out.
Are you just posting for the sake of posting or are you in fact the greatest living marvel fan?

Actually from what I hear Marine sits in comic shops and reads comic without paying for them. So it's entirely possible that he could have read everything Marvel puts out in a given month.
