I have small goals for my little comic, to succesfully combine music and webcomics into a perfect ambient harmony.
That's what I try to do.

Since my first try at the weekly comic things failed at 20 pages, my first goal is to make it to 20 pages. When that happens I'll have a little party, maybe with cupcakes, then figure out where I'm going from there..

I'm gonna stick to a small goal here and just say:
To update on schedule, dammit.
But really, I have larger goals for my writing, not my art. I love art, but I wouldn't want to sell it.

I plan on making 100 pages then tying up any loose ends in the story and maybe sell some T-shirts.

To become a better artist and at least start making some money from it.

Create more comics, get better at art, get a larger readerbase, get better at coloring, self-publish more books...

... ... NONE. I don't know why I do it.
edit: Actually, I kind of like the self-inflicted pressure I put on myself to update every god forsaken day, so I guess I could say I do it to prove to myself that I can -do- something.

Probably to get my fellow artist friends to acknowledge and appreciate my work and influwance them to move forward in their work.
Basically to amaze them; then they would reflect about it and then think "I can do better than that" and thus they work harder.
So far that has not happened yet.
I also want to have a printed version of my comic so I can show my comic/s to more people.
I think it would also be nice to have a fancy domain site in the future.

In two weeks, I'll be posting the 100th strip of the Dada Detective. I'll be able to cross that off the list, then.
Future goals? Well, this started off as something like a training exercise, but I think Dada Detective will be my first full-length novel. The story's "evolving," but the essentials are written. It's just slow to finish, updating a week at a time.
I want more people to see Steph's artwork. She's my oldest friend, I'm lucky to be working with her, and she does magnificent work.
I want my next project to be even better. The collected Likely Stories fills three short books right now. I want there to be a lot more books, and web strips, in my future.

This might sound kind of silly, but I mainly make my webcomics for one reader.. and as long as he remains happy reading them, then Im pretty happy as well.
*blush*
If it weren't for him, I wouldnt make them at all..
Of course, I also have those big time dreams of my own animated series that will make me a decent amount of money ^o^
(more than Im making in my so called "career")

I guess my goals are to improve my writing and drawing skills. Stay on my set schedule, get a good fanbase, and hopefully self-publish. Not too much, realistic. :D

Jeremy and I are making the comic because it’s the kind of thing we would buy had it already existed.
As for what we want to do with the comic;
Once we get far enough ahead in number of issues that we won’t immediately catch up to ourselves, we are going to shop it around to different indie publishers (image, slg, etc.) and see where we go from there.

I'm also doing that other comic "Space Waffles ".
We now have a podcast called The Random Pirate Comics Show!

I don't want to become famous. I just like having something that others enjoy ya know.
I left the webcomic scene for a year when I left the old DD before it crashed and I was on DD for a long time before that.
When I finally came back I got comments like
yay brutus is back
good to have you back
I missed this comic.
That is all I need (^_^). I love that I make people enjoy the strips.

I used to have asperations of getting published and becoming famous and the like, but I've moved on from it.
I'm strictly an ammature artist, no longer maing money off drawing or trying to make it in the professional frelance world. I'd like to improve and all, but really, i'm never planning to go anywhere beyond doodling on my lunchbreak with it.
Currently, I have one goal, and one alone: I want to tell a story. I want to make something pretty that people can enjoy, and share it with the world.

The goal of my comics are as follows:
South of Sanity: To provide a good laugh to anyone willing to put up with the immense amount of inconsistences, as well as work to improve my ability to draw, and hopefully make something at least mildly interesting.
HSVoD: The goal of this is simply to make little children cry.
