I ended up reading Love Hina a while back. I have no idea why.

I actually did that too! My conclusion at the end was: "why is this famous?"

The answer to that question is: THE FAN-SERVICE!
I mean talk about a manga who's only purpose was soft core porn.

I guess, but there are a lot of comics that rely on fan service that are often better drawn and better written, yet they're somehow not as popular.

I guess it may have to do with how much they show.

Love hina is kind of like the old popular webcomics like CAD, it started early(1998 to be exact) and before many other harems featuring a bumbling moron spawned. It's semi-freshness at the time was what made it popular, though now drowned out in shitty harems with the same premise, much like CAD is with video game webcomics.

Also doesn't hurt that the characters can be pretty charming if you don't realise how small their brain and self-esteem must be to go after a loser like keitaro.

CAD itself was basically a ripoff of Penny Arcade, so all the evils of the webcomic world can be traced back to Gabe and Tycho.

To be fair, it might have been an original premise but that doesn't make it good. Love Hina was actually one of the first harem stories I've seen and I still hated it. The fact that it inspired other similarly bad stories just makes it worse.

Berserk
Credible ppl would actually argue that it's an excellent manga. It has its faults but also its good points.

Really?! The only faults Berserk has is that the story progresses very slowly and the first 3 volumes aren't too good. After that it's pure greatness.

Anyway the worst manga? That's tough, but I gotta say one called "Mandara". It gets you by having some cool and well drawn color pages at the beginning of each volume, but god damn the art in the actual comic is horrendous and everything is cliche.

Also Naruto and Bleach suck a lot too.

Edit- Love Hina sucked. I read it back in the day and I thought it was good and now I'm just disgusted by it. No redeeming qualities at all.

Get this. There is actually a manga that had a plot about Obama turning into a cheery Japanese girl and talking about Africa. I think it was called Air Gear.

It was soo bad... awful!

That sounds almost like a game I once saw. I can't remember the name of it, and it's quite a few years old now, but basically it was about the president and the vice-president fighting each other with giant mechs.

Majora's Mask.
I was so bored, so I thought maybe it would be fun and interesting :D

Boss battles were 2 pages, and they took 2 hits to kill. :|

Also Link talked. Although that was okay, seeing as though it was just a manga, they couldn't get some awful voice actor to ruin his awesomeness with an awful American voice actor in some equally awful cartoon, right?

It was also pretty cool seeing him in the sword fighting battle with those grown men.

Other than that it was boring and uninteresting. D-

I read the Oracle of Seasons Zelda book and I have to agree with you in that it wasn't that exciting. But you also have to think that the Legend of Zelda manga series was written with children in mind. Heck the the company that published the books was VIS Kids, a sub-production team to VIS media.
