...Personally, I think this is fake. I don't think an angry kid like that would be dumb enough to try to stick a tv remote up his ass. ...Then again, I could be mistaken...

On the one hand, it does look a bit forced and fake, especially the remote suppository bit. On the other hand, I have heard of cases of kids taking it a bit too far with their video games.

On yet another hand...

It does seem a little cued, like how he waits a bit before you hear him freak out, and how he convienently enters the room just as his brother gets done putting in the camera.

Fake vid is fake.

Like therealtj mentions, it's a bit perfectly staged. For example, notice how the brother pops up the moment he's done with the tantrum, speaking the words: "Did you effing see that?" How did he know that the camera caught any of that?

But moments like that are common though. Here's an old classic that most of you have probably seen before. A whiny kid screaming at his parent through battle chat.
Those were my two cents.

I would imagine the whole house could hear the kid's antics... That's why his dad yelled at him to shut up.

I don't know if it's fake or not, I'm just saying that could be an explanation. Some of it's too perfect, like the excellent framing of the shot and the timing of the brother entering and exiting the room. But then the tantrum is sort of convincing... some of that felt really unplanned.

I'm pretty glad now that I find WoW to be a very boring game.

After seeing the sequel to this tantrum, I'm starting to lean more towards fake:

It looks a bit like his parents are in on it and it makes me wonder... why would his parents let him humiliate himself on the internet? And why would he want to be known as the kid who try to ram a remote up his pooper?

So that he can win everlasting fame and get some internet money.

That's how stuff like that works, right?

The star wars kid is rich and famous today, right?

.... right?

That's what I hate about Youtube. All these dicks filming themselves doing stuff all the time just to get comments. I don't mind if they create something like some inventive dance video that really impresses people, something like that. sort of the equivalent of our webcomics. But the damn bloggers who do it for their "fans" or whatever and the dicks who just do something pointless for the popularity, ugh!

At least the starwars kid thing was somewhat unintentional.

Ah. That's true. Hmm.. let's find someone who became "famous" after doing something more intentionally.

...

Ah. Here's one.

And would you believe it? He made a sequel.

Those were my two cents.

I'd never seen that Numa thing before... And at first I was "meh", but after about halfway into that second vid...

Ah see, now I don't like that second Numa video because now he's doing it intentionally....the first one is a lot better....and kinda scary. My husband likes to imitate that guy...(shiver)

But hey, looks like he knows how to advertise himself...notice the "newNuma.com" shirt he's wearing? :)

This guy had his 15 minutes before the star wars kid came around. I'm surprised that you haven't heard of him, Oz. He was the biggest meme of his time.

Bigger then lolrush.

Heck, half the newground stuff was about someone killing him.

The only thing I like about the second video is that fact that he's apparently sitting in the darkness, waiting for the phone to ring so that he can promptly answer "alloh?".

And since you guys seem to like him so much...

Those were my two cents.

Whut WHUT?? New Numa is in Russian?! ...and it's about rabbits :O

If anybody cares he's singing "New Numa yay hey. 1,2,3,4,5 a rabbit came out. Suddenly a hunter springs out and shoots straight at the rabbit. Piff-paff oi oi oi (oh dear), my rabbit dies. New Numa yay hey..."

he keeps on singing that, changes it about a little at some points and at the end keeps saying "I love you - you love me"

....wow. Interesting to know that the lyrics are as pointless as the kid's video. It's funny, hearing the song you think they're singing about something a little more meaningful.

They may be pointless, but I admire the guy for having the guts to film himself and stick it on the Internet. I don't think I could do that. :)

I seriously doubt they're fake. My brother flips out whenever I beat him in a game. He throws the controller at me, yells, and threatens to kill me. He's the videogame player, I play occasionally and whenever I beat him in anything he flips out. Take yesterday for example, I beat him in 5 out of 6 basketball games, he of course did the usual "shut up fag I don't give a crap!(yelling, air punching, death threats, etc." and stormed off into the house. Then a few hours later he wanted me to play baseball with him, I again beat him and he ran off with the ball, screamed his head off and stormed inside. I usually ignore it, but I can get a big kick out of it every once in a while.

If my brother's like that with every day things, I'm sure that kid can be just as bad, if not worse.

My brother sucks.

True, but does he conduct self inflicting anal probes with remote controls, all while conveniently located in front of a camera?
Those were my two cents.

Well, I just found out they're fake. ALL OF THEM. And here's the proof.

But that's not it.

I've never played world of warcraft, because I'm cash-conscious, but judging by the videos, I shouldn't play it, or should never try to get famous on YouTube.
