I agree that Kefka is superior to Sephiroth. Kefka is more crafty and downright insane. On top of his tower, Kefka would hurl "Light of Judgement"(don't remember exact name, they're fireballs or something) at random places because it was fun. Sephiroth kills people because he feels those people are inferior to him, and they are obstacles to his plan for power.

Kefka kills people to further his plans, yes, but he deeply enjoys people suffering. He could've destroyed the world, yet he chose to screw it over majorly and just make people suffer. I would be more scared to run into Kefka in a dark alley than Sephiroth.

And the fact that Kefka reached god-like status while Sephiroth only reached demi-god-like status makes Kefka a better villain. :P

BTW, on the quiz I'm Laguna(from FF8). I NEVER expected that, but I did like playing as him during Squall's dream sequences.

Ok.. I see kefka is "superior" but he show up in one game!(two if is #10... I don't know)Kefka dies throught. Sephiroth is in 5 games! Because of the main chather own darkness. He show up in two of three Kingdom Hearts, In Dirge of Cirburs,(comes back if you see the sertae ending), and is one of the good guys on befor crise. AND he's in a movie!

Sephiroth shows up in so many things because he has more drooling fanboys and girls than Kefka does, and Square wants to make money off of him, because villains dressed in black with flowing white hair sell things. That's all, really. =p

Kefka and his list of badness (as far as i remember)

1 posinging an entire castles supplie of watter.
2 setting another castle on fire
3 enslaveing a half esper
4 DESTROYING THE WORLD (or at least giveing it a hell on earth type feel)
5 causing the near nere extintion of espers for the harvisting of magicite
6 ereacting a tower and proclaming himself a god
7 causeing natural desastors from said tower
8 killing the emporor
9 SEVERAL accounts of attemted murders on the main chars
10 unleashing the espers death gaze and the one that you have to fight to get terra back pnumba by the name i belive thugh i may be wront

Well, Kefka didn't really destroy the world, even though everyone in the game thught that he did. But if you see the cinematic when you beat Kefka, you see that they're (trying) to "rebuild" the world. And after all, if he really destroyed the world, the humans would probably not exist anymore. So Kefka actually just made it look like a hell-on-earth thing. ;)
