Granted I love the shit out of the first half of this series, I would rather take a vague "who shot who" ending than the terrible animation CLAMP farted out for R2. Way to make a great looking show look like ass. Plot was still pretty great though.


Also Death Note's second half is starting to grow on me for some weird reason. I still loath the ending though. Kinda like Claymore which was basically Berserk after the Golden Age arc, only to get fucked up by Raki's constant blubbering about how everyone should join hands and get along or some tree hugging faggotry like that.

EDIT: Apparently CLAMP did the character designs in season one as well. News to me, I dont usually keep my eye on that stuff. I still would like to know what the fuck happened to the animation by the end of season two because oboy

Except character design and animation go hand-in-hand, acting as the basis and general direction that the aniation staff will take during the actual production. (although I'm not a fuckin' animationologist, as far as I know design is crucial in animation)

I could also spend all day listing why I think CLAMP is awful, but I think the best way to put it is that they're the Japanese version of Liefeld.

A big factor on whether or not I like an anime is the opening music. I LOVE anime opening & credit music. The exception to that rule is DBZ. The American theme song was just sums up the feel of the series so much better. The new Dragonball Kai opening is an improvement as well. Speaking of the music, I haven't heard Gundam Wing's in a while. To YouTube!
