Do you listen to webcomic podcasts?

What are some good ones?

If you had the opportunity, would you want to be interviewed in a webcomic podcast?

I haven't really been into the whole podcast thing from a listener point of view. I hear that some of the Comic Dish podcasts were pretty good though.

As for being interviewed, that could be fun.

Check out Webcomics Weekly, probably the best webcomics podcast out there (IMO). It stars Scott Kurtz, Kris Straub, Brad Guigar, and Dave Kellett. All of these guys make a living off their webcomic and sprinkle down advice for the rest of us so that we can improve upon our own comics.

I also listen to the Gigcast and Webcomic Beacon.

As for interviewed, I have been interviewed on Webcomic Beacon before, never listened to it though as I of course hate to hear my own voice.

I cant remember if Gigcast is still going, but that one wasnt so bad. Personally I've been toying with the idea of starting one, but I cannot find a co-host willing to help me out on it.

I'm a queer for podcasts.

All I listen to are "Indie Spinner Rack" and "Art & Story", neither really about webcomics. ISR might touch upon that, but they're mostly into indie printed stuff, whereas A&S seems to focus on the creative aspects (listened to 6 episodes so far so who knows what they talk about later).

Would I like to be interviewed? Sure, why not. I probably wouldn't make a bigger ass out of myself than I do by posting online, haha.

Being a guest on webcomic beacon was an interesting experience. It made me want to maybe try and do some kind of Drunk Duck podcast. Of course, we'd have no way to host it on DD, and there are a lot of webcomics podcasts out there (that all seem to do largely the same things, except Webcomic Weekly). So the techical issues and apparent design/execution challenges quickly put a lid on that idea. :] Plus I got the feeling that after 3 or 4 of them I'd get tired of it.

I generally don't listen to podcasts (I have no time...) but I like the idea behind them. I'd of course do anything to promote my comic, including a podcast, but I doubt anyone would care what a no-name like me would have to say ; )

I've been listening to them like crazy lately.

I listen to webcomics weekly, webcomic beacon, and 910 CMX.

No time? What do ya mean? It's a lifesaver for keeping me working on my inking and coloring. But the only thing that bugs me is when I listen, I obsess over how much I want to be a guest in a podcast.

You know Skoolmunkee.. I heard from a journalism major friend of mine that interviews are best done face to face.
I think it would be awesome to film interviews... or a webcomic documentary. Think about it. The lives of the webcomic artists.. at cons, at the studio, at the comic meet ups.

Hey skool, I was just listening to that podcast yesterday, what a coinkydink. You did a good job on there! Yeah, the webcomic beacon is awesome, especially episode 39 which I direct everyone to for entirely non-self-serving reasons.

By the way I think this is an awesome idea:

I've done the Gigcast before. The hosts are wonderful people. I couldn't listen to the episode with me in it, because I hate hearing myself talk, but it was fun to do.
I'm talking to Fes about the Beacon, too.
I never really listen to podcasts, really. They're too distracting when I'm trying to work, and I'm almost always working!
