I and my partner Leila host two weekly comic book review shows called Geeking Out on Youtube & a weekly podcast called Bagged & Boarded for thisweekingeek.net and we're always looking to review more titles that maybe not many people have heard of or seen, we want to try and get people reading new books and not just the same old marvel & DC stuff so, if you have a book and want it reviewed send a copy to:

This is a site for web comics.
If you want to review web comics you have come to the right place, but for print comics, I think you are barking up the wrong tree.

yeah, we can only currently review printed editions (whether it be published or photocopied) of web comics but, when we do we always try to mention the website where one can read the web comic. I'd love to be able to review just web comics & that may be happening once we are able to get past some technical limitations we have currently. it's really more about promoting comics be they web based or print based especially by lesser known talents.
but, if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask people

If you wanted to review web-comics, all you'd have to do extra really, is maybe download some freeware of a video recorder. Such as...CamStudio
And then some audio freeware...Audacity
Mix that up with your clips you recorded with camera/camcorder, and boom. You got a review of a webcomic.
Won't cost you a dime.
Unless it deals with something else, then that's fine.
But hope that helps. :kitty:

I'm sure you could find some graphic novels at your local library.
Maybe there's a comic shop nearby who'd loan you some comics in exchange for a plug on your show.
Asking people to not on ly recomend comics but send you their copies is a little cheeky if you ask me.

I imagine that in return they'd get exposure on the show. If what the're looking for is new and/or underexposed comics, then the library may not fill that need. Although talking to a comic shop might be a good idea, maybe they could 'sponsor' the show (by providing loaner comics) in exchange for a bit of advertising?
