I thought you guys might be interested to see some of the videos I posted on my blog of myself working on a drawing. It's 2 separate videos covering sketching and then inking.

Its interesting to watch your process.

I start with the big stick figure and/or lines that look like chicken scratch. I'm alot slower when coloring or inking. The pencilling I just go as fast as I can. So I end up with alot of erasures. :)

Awesome. I love seeing this sort of thing.

I'll be drawing live over webcam today actually. I'll be talking with people as I do it too.

You should give it a try.

That's really neat, I never would've thought of rotating the page like that, (to prevent smudging?) The inking video was my favorite out of the two.

rotating the page is more for making straight lines and curves. Following the natural rotation of my wrist. I sort of naturally avoid resting my hand over freshly made lines by default.

Very interesting. I also rotate the page, but just for straighter lines, not curves so much. I have a hard time drawing straight on for some reason.

But that was interesting.
Updates Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday's (depends).
